Marriott’s NEW Free Night Award Chart is Live!

Keeping track of Marriott’s free night awards just got easier! Take a wild guess how many hotels are now in the Marriott Rewards program? I was way off. Marriott Rewards combined program brings together 6,700 hotels. That’s a lot of hotels to keep track of.

A TWG reader asked if Marriott had released a free night award chart yet for its combined program. And now I can answer…….YES. I find this free night award chart easy to use and a handy page to bookmark for the Marriott Rewards program benefits. The chart lays out the hotel, brand, country/region, points required, and new category award. And remember, you can save up to 25,000 points per night when you book future Category 8 hotels at the Category 7 rate until 2019.

Now if they only give me back my free night certificate after I cancelled a booking I could probably book one of these

Thanks for posting this Shelli — very useful.

I don’t understand why Marriott labels the chart “…our new Free Night Award Chart. The chart (actually a list, not a graphic chart) has about 1,650 hotels with more than 25,000 points required. I don’t think I will be able to get a free night at any of those 1,650 hotels, using my “Premier Visa Anniv. 1 Free Nt up to 25,000 Points”.

Marriott should re-title the chart as “Hotel Award Categories and Points Required”. But maybe that is too honest for the marketing department!

Most welcome, Gaston. I thought it was useful, too. You make a great point about chart (list) titling. But as we know, Free Night Award Chart does sounds enticing. Thanks for reading!
