Several 1 Way RV Relocation Deals for $1 / Day + $100 Gas Allowance with TransferCar

Good morning everyone.  I just received an email from TransferCar regarding several 1 way RV relocation deals.  Back in 2016, my brother and I went on an epic RV roadtrip from Los Angeles to Denver thanks to TransferCar.  I wrote about the process in 4 parts (part 1: introduction; part 2: reservation, part 3: pickup & drop off; and part 4: thoughts and photos).  If you are looking for a fun way to explore the US, there is no better way than in an RV.  To get started, go to the TransferCar website and select RV Intermediate to see all available RV deals.

As of today (October 20), there are 29 RV relocation deals from all over the country.  I recommend looking for an RV relocation deal from your home area, then booking a flight or car rental back home.  Alternatively, if there are drop off locations near your home, you could drive or fly to the pick up location.  As you can see, all these RV deals are $1 / day with the ability to get extra days for $60 / day.  All of these deals also include a gas allowance, starting at $100.  I’m not sure exactly how the gas allowance works, since that option wasn’t available for my 2016 RV relocation.

Let’s take a look at the last option above for San Francisco to Los Angeles.  You can get 2 days at $1 each and get an extra day for $60.  The RV will be between 22 feet and 37 feet long and no special license is required, just a valid driver’s license.  If you drive nonstop, the drive between SF and LA is about 6-7 hours, depending on the route you take.  So getting 2 days for $2 plus a $100 gasoline allowance seems like a great deal.

These deals change weekly and by the season, so if you do not see a relocation deal that interests you, I recommend subscribing to their email newsletter so you can be alerted to new deals that are posted.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!
