Good afternoon everyone.  After I saw the 10K Anniversary Points Post & $300 Travel Credit Reset for Capital One Venture X Credit Card, I browsed around the Capital One Travel portal and saw that I had 2 targeted offers: $75 off flights to Montana & $30 off flights to New Mexico.  I am close to SFO, so the location of the offers might be targeted to people in California or the West Coast, I am not sure.  There is no specific airline required and no limited booking window either.  I decided to take advantage of the first offer and booked an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Bozeman, Montana.  As you can see, the $75 credit was applied to the reservation and the remaining $54 was charged to my Capital One Venture X Credit Card.  Since I just got my $300 travel credit “renewed,” the $54 travel purchase should get reimbursed by Capital One in a few days / weeks.

The Capital One Travel portal lets you purchase basic economy flights (which I always skip), standard economy flights (which can be changed after booking), and then a special economy flight that costs a few dollars more, but you can cancel and get back 80% of your flight as future travel credit.  I went with the standard economy flights.

I also decided to take advantage of the New Mexico offer and booked an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Albuquerque, New Mexico.  As you can see, the $30 credit was applied to the reservation and the remaining $87.90 was charged to my Capital One Venture X.  This $87.90 travel purchase should also get reimbursed by Capital One in a few days / weeks.  Since both flights were booked as standard economy flights, I can change them or cancel them directly with the airline, if necessary.

I forgot to take a screenshot of my offers before redeeming them, but you can find them after you sign into your Capital One account, go to the Capital One Travel portal, click the wallet icon at the top, then click My Travel Offers.  The only remaining offer I have right now is 15% off select hotels in Montana, which I do not plan to use.

My wife also had the same 2 offers for $75 off flights to Montana and $30 off flights to New Mexico.  She was only interested in visiting Montana, so she used the $75 offer in her account to book the same flight to Bozeman.  She doesn’t have the Capital One Venture X, only the $59 annual fee Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. A few days later, I checked her account and the $30 off flights to New Mexico offer was gone.  I wonder if Capital One removes other offers after a few days if you book a different offer.  If that is the case, try to redeem both offers on the same day, if possible.

As expected, the 2 Capital One Travel flight purchases triggered the travel credit to post to my account.

I also received an email about the travel credit being applied.
