How to Order Physical Sinemia Card ($14.99 Fee)

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  Yesterday, I wrote Sinemia App Update: View Number of Tickets Used, Plan Start Date & Next Billing Date.  I am not sure if I missed this feature yesterday or if Sinemia made this feature live shortly after my post went live, but you can now order your physical Sinemia card.  By using the physical Sinemia card, you should avoid paying the $1.80 online processing fees, but the physical card does cost $14.99.  To order your physical card, log into your Sinemia account online, go to the Membership page, scroll down and click the blue Order Physical Card button.

Sinemia App Update: View Number of Tickets Used, Plan Start Date & Next Billing Date

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.  A few weeks ago, Sinemia sent out an email to all members telling them about 7 new features / improvements coming in December.  Today, I noticed that the Sinemia app had an update that will tell you how many movies you have seen this month and details of your Sinemia subscription (plan start date, cycle renew date, and next billing date).  I will show you where those features are located in the app and share my thoughts on the changes.

Kalboz It might sound like a cliche, but spending time with friends and family breaking bread together was fantastic. Also, unplugging during that time made the our moments more relaxing!
Eric Horton I was delighted that my sister-in-law had invited several people who did not have families of their own to our family Thanksgiving! It was great to meet new people and enjoy the spirit of the day together.
Coleman Having my children home college, dental school and graduate school and knowing that my tuition days are nearing an end!
Jim F. Our 6-year-old granddaughter surprised us at Thanksgiving dinner when she said she wanted to offer the prayer before the meal. I wish I could upload the video. Like the commercial says, “priceless.” Suffice it to say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
David T We had 24 family members to our house for Thanksgiving and it was fun!
Christian Not being called “English” by my wife’s Pennsylvania family.
Bill Pisor Family time together & playing games with the grandkids!
Chris Getting to hang with my sister who I only see once or twice a year
Rick Cooking for friends
Angela Eating turkey! Don’t get to eat as much turkey the rest of the year

Good afternoon everyone.  A few months ago, I did a Travel with Grant USB drives giveaway.  I still have 8 USB drives available, so I am doing another round of giveaways.  I received these USB drives for free from a company called USB Memory Direct. USB Memory Direct specializes in custom printed USB drives and they recommended the tube style that is water-resistant and super durable.  Each USB drive has 8GB of storage and is perfect for backing up photos, videos, or other files.  Continue reading for instructions on how to enter the giveaway…

Starbucks Opens A Cafe That Even A Coffee Snob Like Me Can’t Wait To Visit!

There’s actually a Starbucks I can’t wait to visit! As the Bean Around the World coffee girl I’m sure you’re surprised to hear me say that. Yes, today’s story is about Starbucks. And it’s a very positive one! Starbucks now has a cafe staffed by employees who are partially or fully deaf and can communicate in American Sign Language. It’s in Washington, D.C. near Gallaudet University, the only Liberal Arts college for the deaf in the U.S. The baristas are teaching hearing customers how to say the Starbucks menu offerings in American Sign Language. I’ve studied ASL and think this kind of diversity in the marketplace is great for everyone. Here’s the story and a cool video to watch.
