Good evening everyone, I have a collection of random news to share. To start off, here are a bunch of new AMEX Offers that showed up in my account: Umami Burger, Hay Needle, Swanson Health Products, Maria’s Italian Kitchen, and Stuart Weitzman. I have only heard of Umami Burger, but never tried it out. Hopefully some of these offers are useful.
Like clockwork, Staples has more Easy Rebates this week. If you are getting low on paper (almost impossible at this point), here are some great deals on paper. To see all of Staples weekly deals, click here.
I logged into my Bank of America account to pay my Alaska Airlines credit card and noticed that there was a BankAmeriDeal for Double Tree hotels. Get 10% cash back by using your enrolled Bank of America credit card to spend $150-$400 at Double Tree before May 5.
I was in San Diego this past weekend and had a delicious burger at Hodad’s in Ocean Beach. Fun fact: hodad is a person who looks and acts like a surfer but doesn’t necessary know how to surf. Anyway, I earned $1.64 cash back by randomly eating at this restaurant, thanks to MOGL. Learn more about MOGL here.
Last but not least, I have a follow up to my recent post: Citi Double Cash Earning Structure and Cash Back Redemption Offers. Apparently I made a mistake by cashing in my Citi Double Cash cash back for a statement credit. Let me explain. Since I earn the second 1% cash back by paying my bill, a statement credit does not count as a payment, so I will not earn the second 1% on my $41.56 statement credit (only a 42 cent loss). Smart readers/comments recommended redeeming for a bank deposit instead. I will do that next time, I promise!
