Good morning everyone. Since Sunday’s are usually pretty slow around the miles and points blogosphere, I decided to create a fun challenge for you. I want you to reword one of my recent blog post titles and make it click-bait worthy. Let me be clear, I hate click-bait titles as much as the next person, but if you can come up with a funny, clever title from one of these posts, you will be rewarded. I will select 1 winner for a $10 Amazon eGift Card by Monday night (around 10pm PT on February 29, 2016).

Haha, you’re saying I should win my own contest? I like that idea :)
On Second thought, never mind my entry.
The ironic humor in Jon’s reply is totes awesome :)
And Smay’s entry reminds me of tennis; I love tennis.
I’m just going to go back to observing/reading instead of participating. Kudos to Grant: the contest idea was brillant satire!
AMEX Serves up a quick and free $25 – non Target-ed!
(Italics should be added for Serve and Target)
I added italics to your comment. Good work Smay.
Urgent! Breaking News! LAST Chance Offer for FREE Travel! NOW happening!
(this for the OC Travel Hacker Meetup to discuss travel news, advice, tips, etc. Why not, eh?)
Hehe, through in limited time, last chance, and targeted and you’ve got yourself a click-bait title to be proud of :)
AMEX discontinuing one program and giving free money for joining another!
Good idea, but you really got to sell me that click-bait headline. Throw in “You’ll never guess what AMEX is doing…” and you got yourself a killer title.
Title: “The new 2x mile everywhere card”
Then in the body you talk about the new de-valued A+ card.
Title: “The forgotten 2x mile everywhere card”
Then in the body you say “What’s in your wallet?”
Those are pretty good click-bait titles, but you need to write one about my posts :)
Oh I actually didn’t read the contest rules and jumped straight to comment section.
Haha, it’s ok, I got pretty excited writing this post too.

Not bad, not bad. I want to see someone do a title about Amtrak too. Don’t forget about them!
Tigers, Lions, and Trains…oh my! Wait! TRAINS!?!
(doesn’t matter if there are no tigers or lions. It’s click-bait after all.)
If I saw a tiger and lion stuffed animal aboard the train, the title would work :)
FREE Checked Bags and MORE using this One Simple Trick!

That’s a good one, you might be the front runner :)
AMEX for Target Discontinuing Program, but THE MINT IS BACK!
Hmm, let’s leave the US Mint out of this… for now :)

AMEX neuters Target relationship; tries to console people with AMEX Serve $25 Sign Up Bonus for those seeing red
or, a bit more descriptive
AMEX neuters Target relationship; consoles with AMEX Serve $25 Sign Up Bonus for those seeing red. Accounts killed recently possibly still not going to rise from the dead
Those are very good efforts, but the titles are too descriptive. You need to let the readers mind run with the title and assume the worst.
Amex for Target goes away…and you’ll NEVER believe what happens next!
Save big bucks on a ridesharing service with this one weird trick!
We have s pro click-bait title maker here. Great job!
AMEX just SERVEd me a denial, BUT…
