Good afternoon everyone. This is super last minute, but I wanted to let everyone in the Bay Area know that there is a SF Travel Hacker Meetup tomorrow night. I will be there along with several other miles/points/MS/travel enthusiasts. This month’s topic is about booking airline awards, so it should be very educational. Food and drinks may be provided, if we are lucky :)
- When: Wednesday, April 27 @ 7-9pm
- Where: Dev Bootcamp, 633 Folsom Street, 6th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94107 (Google Map)
This weekend, I will be in Las Vegas at the Frequent Traveler University (FTU) Signature Event. This travel conference should be a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing a few familiar faces and meeting new people. I will be arriving Friday night around 9pm and will be staying at the D Hotel. I’ll probably be around the lobby/bar area, just look for the Travel with Grant shirt :)
- When: Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 1
- Where: The D Las Vegas, 301 Fremont Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101 (Google Maps)
Lastly, it’s been way too long since my last meetup in Fremont, so I want to go back. My May is pretty busy, but I am free the weekend of May 14-15. I haven’t decided on a date yet, but the meetup will most likely be held in the afternoon from 12-2pm. For those in the Fremont / South Bay area, which weekend day do you prefer? Please let me know in the comments section.
- Date: Saturday, May 14 or Sunday, May 15 @ 12-2pm
- Location: In-N-Out, 43349 Pacific Commons Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538 (Google Maps)
If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
Hey Grant,
I’m interested in the Fremont meetup. I’m open for either day, but probably prefer the 14th.Thanks.

Thanks Danny, it looks like 5/14 is winning the voting with the only vote :)
Is this Fremont meetup still happening tomorrow?
Hi Peter, unfortunately due to underwhelming demand and scheduling conflicts, the Fremont meetup is canceled this weekend.
