Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  I was looking at my AMEX Offers this morning and saw an upgrade offer on my American Express Platinum Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card to the American Express Delta Reserve Business Credit Card.  There might be a similar upgrade offer on the American Express Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card or on the personal AMEX Delta credit cards, but I don’t have any of those cards at the moment.  I do not have Delta elite status, so the upcoming changes to the Delta elite program do not bother me.  The only reason I have this card it for the Delta TakeOff 15 Benefit (15% Award Travel Discount). Here are more details of the upgrade offer.

Here is the upgrade offer landing page to see if you are eligible for the upgrade.  If you are eligible, you should see the Request Upgrade Now button.  The upgrade offer comes with a 50,000 Delta SkyMiles bonus after spending $5,000 in 6 months.  The annual fee is $550.  If you have never had this credit card before, you may be more interested in applying directly, since the current sign up bonus is for 110,000 Delta SkyMiles.

Here is a quick comparison of the 2 credit cards.  Basically, the major difference is in regards to the Delta Sky Club access.  It is $50 / visit for the Delta Platinum Business or free for the Delta Reserve Business.  Those access terms will both change on January 1, 2024, so be aware of that upcoming change.
