Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well. I was reading Frequent Miler’s post about Amex Business Platinum benefits scheduled to end 12/31/24 and learned that the $360 Indeed Benefit from the American Express Business Platinum Card could be used toward Indeed Career Services, not just for employers looking to hire new employees. Thanks to bullmeister in the FM comments for the heads up. I went down the rabbit hole and learned that Indeed has several career services, such as Resume Help, Career Coaching, Pay Negotiation & Interview Prep that range in price from $35 to $95. Theoretically, you could pay for 2 services ($35 + $55 = $90) to use up the $90 quarterly credit. I’m happily employed and not looking to switch careers anytime soon, but these services (free after using the Indeed Credit) could be useful for others. Read on to learn more.
To get started, you will need to sign into your American Express online account, go to the Indeed Benefit, and enroll in the Business Platinum Indeed Benefit.
Here are the complete terms of the benefit. I bolded the most important parts. Like most things AMEX, the $360 is split into $90 quarterly credits.
Here is the homepage for the Indeed Career Services. I will also go through the 4 services offered and highlight the costs.
With Resume Help, you can have your resume professionally reviewed to make your resume stand out from the crowd. There are 2 price options:

With Career Coaching, you can discuss important career decisions. There are 2 price options:

- Create a plan for career exploration, changing careers, or job search strategy: $95 (45 minutes)
With Pay Negotiation, you can get help with reviewing an offer letter and negotiating a better offer. There is only 1 price option:

Last but not least, there is Interview Prep, where you can improve your interview skills and practice some mock interview questions. There is only 1 price option:

If you have any experience using these Indeed Career Services, I would love to hear what you thought of the service. If you have any questions about the $360 Indeed Benefit, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
P.S. Does anyone know if there are any job placement services or local charities I could donate these career services too? Even though I cannot use these benefits currently, I would like to support someone who could use these services to get a new job. Thank you.
