Have you ever stayed at an Airbnb lodging? I’ve only done that once. We rented a flat in Paris. It came recommended to me from a cousin who stayed in the flat, and it worked out just fine. However, I’ll admit to being more partial to hotel stays. The same cousin who recommended the Paris flat and loves Airbnb recently went down a rabbit hole looking for some stays for herself and she found some hilarious, quirky, and sometimes cheap Airbnb options.

I would get bored looking through pages of options for lodgings, but for some people, it’s fun. But if you like quirky and are the outdoorsy type, you’ll get a kick out of these ideas. When I see an Airstream, I’ll admit I’m intrigued. Camping certainly has gone upscale. An Airstream can cost $100,000, but then again you can rent one. Some Airstreamers offer up their aluminum trailers when they’re not using them. And a weekend stay could cost just a couple hundred dollars. For instance, this “Super Cute Airstream” lives in Wimberly, Texas. It’s $130 per night, accommodates two, and sits on 10 acres.
