This week, Hyatt added 2 new properties to the Hyatt family: Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort (category 5 in Hainan, China) and Hyatt City of Dreams Manila (category 2 in Manila, Philippines). According to the press release, the Park Hyatt Sanya is located on Hainan Island, “China’s southernmost province widely known as ‘the Hawaii of China.’ The hotel marks the fifth Park Hyatt hotel in China, as well as the 35th Park Hyatt hotel in the world.” The Park Hyatt Sanya looks beautiful and has a gorgeous beach-front view. The second hotel to be added to the Hyatt family is called the Hyatt City of Dreams Manila. I don’t see the C+P option at Hyatt City of Dreams when booking on their site.
For all Cash and Points rates, if there is award availability, you can call Hyatt and they will book the Cash and Points rate for you.
Just to clarify, C+P is NEVER available if there is NO award availability but it MAY be available if there IS award availability — no guarantees.
Lots of Hyatt properties never offer C+P and some only offer it on odd numbered Tuesdays in months that end in Z. YMMV…
Haha, I wish Cash and Points were available for any night that had award space, but I guess that is more fantasy than reality. You can’t beat the Cash and Points rates if you can find them :)
