Good morning everyone, happy Tuesday! Over the weekend, I got a few offers in the mail. The first is for a Hyatt Residence Club timeshare presentation at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort. I am going to Maui in October for my Westin Vacation Package offer I received a few months ago, so I am not going to use this offer for 6 days / 5 nights + 10,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points + 90 minute timeshare presentation for $799. I have had a Chase Hyatt Credit Card for a few years but never been to a Hyatt Residence Club timeshare presentation. If Arizona is more your style, check out this Hyatt Residence Club Resort Timeshare in Sedona, AZ.
Here is page 2 of the timeshare presentation offer.
Here is the last page with the small print. If you are interested and meet the eligibility requirements, you can call or email them to be included in the timeshare presentation offer.
In boring US Bank news, I received the below offer as an email and as a letter in the mail. I can earn up to 2,000 bonus Club Carlson points for every dollar I spend over $50. I would have to spend $2,050 to receive the maximum bonus. Since this credit card earns 5x on every purchase, I would earn 5 x 2,050 = 10,250 + 2,000 = 12,250 Club Carlson Points. If I spent $2,050 on a 2% cash back credit card, I would earn $41 cash back. $41 / 12,250 Club Carlson points = 0.33 cents per point (CPP). I don’t really know how much to value Club Carlson hotels at, so it may be a good deal for some. I’m going to pass on this offer and wait for a better US Bank promotion.
If you have questions about either offer, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
P.S. I was in Oregon/Washington over the weekend and I went white water rafting on the Salmon River in southern Washington on Sunday. Great trip and very scenic journey. Safe travels everyone!
I didn’t know that blogging paid so well. 125k+ a year? Maybe I SHOULD give up the day job.
@Christian, in addition to blogging, I believe Grant has a day job also!
My problem with his offer is that you will not be eligible to use your Diamond benefits, no lounge, no breakfast, etc. So you will basically be there in the middle of nowhere at their mercy!
…. and they give you a room with NO VIEW.
That’s no good :(
Does it specifically state that your Diamond benefits (breakfast, suite upgrades, etc) won’t apply ? I’m not seeing that in the invitation.
I don’t have Hyatt Diamond, but I don’t think your elite benefits are useful at timeshare presentation resorts.
I changed my Hyatt account Communication Settings a few months ago to start receiving all notifications. Still haven’t been getting any of these offers. Any ideas ?
Do you have a Chase Hyatt Credit Card as well?
