Good morning everyone, sorry for being MIA the last few days. I don’t have anything major to share, but this might help a few of you out. If you recently were approved for a Chase Ink Plus Business Credit Card with the 60,000 point sign up bonus, you can contact Chase and have them match you to the 70,000 point sign up bonus. My 60,000 Chase Ultimate Reward Points and the 10,000 courtesy adjustment Chase Ultimate Reward Points just posted on my new Chase Ink Plus Business Credit Card. To learn more, read Doctor of Credit’s post.
Here is the secure message that I sent (bottom) and the response I received from Chase (top):
In other news, yesterday, I flew Long Beach (LGB) to Oakland (OAK) on JetBlue and then I read about JetBlue matching passengers to JetBlue Mosaic elite status. I matched from Virgin America Gold (which itself was a match from Alaska Airlines MVP Gold 75K, which was a match from Southwest Airlines Companion Pass). Check out Running with Miles’ post for more info. I woke up this morning and received this email from JetBlue with my new status and benefits:
If I wanted to keep JetBlue Mosaic through the end of 2017, here are the requirements I would need to complete (I am not going to attempt to qualify since I take 1 JetBlue flight every other year, but it might be worthwhile to some people).
In other news, I will be heading down to Monterey, CA, later this morning and writing a sponsored blog post for See Monterey, their local tourism agency. More info to come soon.
A friend of mine recently started a company called There and Back Clothing and I had the chance to test out the service over the weekend. I will work on a review shortly.
The May SF Travel Hackers Meetup is this Thursday (5/12) at 7pm at Dev Bootcamp. If you are interested in attending or learning more about our meetup group, please click here. This month’s topic is on travel photography – how to take great photos with any device, even on your smartphone!
Due to underwhelming demand and scheduling conflicts, I will not be having a meetup in Fremont this weekend, sorry everyone. If you have any questions about anything mentioned above, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
P.S. I promise I will write about my recent trip to Panama City, Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu soon*
*soon may mean different things to different people. (Have I ever mentioned that I am a terrible travel blogger that doesn’t like writing trip reports?)
