Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well. In addition to the Frequent Traveler University (FTU) virtual seminars I have written about over the last year, FTU has several upcoming in-person events in the coming months spread out across the country. If you have the FTU Online Annual Membership, please remember to use your $49 discount coupon when purchasing a ticket. These events partner with the Travel & Adventure Show, so you have free access to the show along with your FTU ticket. Here is the current lineup of in-person FTU events:
FTU Advanced Chicago – February 19-20, 2022 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (close to Chicago O’Hare). Tickets are $129 for non-members and $80 for members (when you use the $49 coupon).
FTU Advanced Los Angeles – March 12-13, 2022 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (Hall GH) (about 15 miles from LAX). Tickets are $129 for non-members and $50 for members (no coupon needed).
FTU @ T&A Show New York – March 19-20, 2022 at the Jacob K. Javits Center (in Manhattan close to the Lincoln Tunnel). Tickets are $20 for non-members and FREE for members (no coupon needed).
FTU Signature Dallas – April 2-3, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Market Center (close to Dallas Love Field). Tickets are $249 for non-members and $200 for members (when you use the $49 coupon). Everything is bigger in Texas and there will be a complimentary Texas BBQ dinner on Saturday night, along with a light breakfast, and lunch both days. You can see the current lineup of speakers and the schedule here.
I wish I could go to all of these events, but I already have weekend plans set for the first 3 events. I am looking forward to attending the FTU Signature Dallas event in April. To purchase your ticket, go here and click the Add to Cart button.
If you have the FTU Online Annual Membership, you should see a $49 discount coupon. Click the coupon to apply the coupon to your order.
Once the $49 discount coupon is applied, you should see the price drop to $200. Click the Proceed to Checkout button and complete your order.
Here are the terms and conditions that cover what happens if there is a government-mandated travel restriction or similar event related to COVID. If that happens, you have the ability to switch to a later FTU event or receive a voucher/coupon to attend a future FTU event.
If a scheduled in-person Frequent Traveler University event date is changed due to existing government-mandated travel restrictions or similar related to SARS-CoV-2, also known as “COVID-19″, pre-registered event attendees will be given the choice of attending the re-scheduled event with a later date or receiving a voucher or coupon so that they can attend a similar event in the extended future. The choice between the two options must be made and confirmed received in writing to Frequent Traveler University not later than 4 day prior to the start of the re-scheduled event else the option to receive the voucher or coupon in lieu of the re-scheduled event for future use is void and no further compensation for the re-scheduled event will be offered. If existing government-mandated travel restrictions or meeting size restrictions related to SARS-CoV-2, also known as “COVID-19″ prevent Frequent Traveler University from holding an in-person event or it becomes impossible for Frequent Traveler University to hold an in-person event and it is cancelled rather than moved, a full event ticket refund or voucher will be offered. All ticket refund exceptions offered by Frequent Traveler University can only be done back to the original form of payment. Frequent Traveler University will not be responsible for or held liable for any additional fees incurred by you or related to any other aspects surrounding re-scheduled or cancelled events, such as phone calls, flights, rental cars, or hotel stays.
Congratulations, you have purchased your FTU Signature Dallas ticket.
After you check out, you will receive a confirmation email. Check your email in the coming weeks to learn more about the event.
If you have any questions about the FTU Online Annual Membership or the FTU Signature Dallas, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
Thanks, Grant. Do you know if you need to be vaxed or masks are required?
Hi Lynn, I think it depends on which event you are asking about.
For the FTU LAX event, it says: “Health & Safety Protocols: The FTU @ Travel & Adventure Show follows the guidance of state, local and venue health guidelines. For more information on what the Los Angeles Convention Center protocols are, please click here (https://www.lacclink.com/covid-19).”
For the FTU NYC event, it says: “Safety Notice: Per current guidelines, the Javits Center requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination for admission for all events. Regardless of vaccination status, face masks are required to enter the Javits Center and in all areas. For more information, go here (https://www.javitscenter.com/covid-19-safety-protocols).”
I couldn’t find anything regarding the Dallas FTU, but if you are asking about that event, I can reach out to the FTU team and find out.
Thanks, yes I’m asking about the Dallas FTU. Sorry I wasn’t specific.
Hi Lynn, I checked with the FTU Dallas organizers and they sent me this: “Safety Notice: The Frequent Traveler University and the Travel & Adventure Show follow the guidance of state, local and venue health guidelines. Stay tuned for an update when we get closer to the event!”
I’m not sure if that helps much, but there should be an update in the next few weeks. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for checking for me. I may just wait a few more weeks and hope it doesn’t fill up. Doubt that masks or shots would be required.
Hi Lynn, I don’t think the event will sell out, so waiting a few weeks should be fine. Have a great weekend.
