In other news, yesterday, I flew Long Beach (LGB) to Oakland (OAK) on JetBlue and then I read about JetBlue matching passengers to JetBlue Mosaic elite status.  I matched from Virgin America Gold (which itself was a match from Alaska Airlines MVP Gold 75K, which was a match from Southwest Airlines Companion Pass).  Check out Running with Miles’ post for more info.  I woke up this morning and received this email from JetBlue with my new status and benefits:

If I wanted to keep JetBlue Mosaic through the end of 2017, here are the requirements I would need to complete (I am not going to attempt to qualify since I take 1 JetBlue flight every other year, but it might be worthwhile to some people).
