Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in Iceland with Amazing Floating / Tumbling Iceberg Videos

Good morning everyone, happy Valentine’s Day ♥.  As I was working on my multi-part Central / South America trip report, I was reminiscing about another trip I took.  Last September, I did a roadtrip around Iceland and stopped at the amazing Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.  It is one of those places that you could spend hours watching nature and not get bored of its beauty.  I had such a great time there and took a ton of photos and videos (see my 5 YouTube videos at the bottom of this post).  I felt bad that the photos and videos were stuck on my iPhone and thought they deserved to be shared.  See here we go, here are the photos from my trip.

How to Watch the 2018 Winter Olympics

The last time I was in Seoul was in 2014. I had a fantastic stay at the Park Hyatt Seoul, and now that I think about it, maybe that was when I got hooked on the Park Hyatt experience. In 2014, Korea was just starting to build some venues for the 2018 Winter Olympics. I could have gone to see them, but they were in the early stages and I guess I was thinking, I’d be back in Korea before 2018. Well, the world is a big place, I haven’t had a chance to get back to Korea, and like most of you, I’m watching the 2018 Winter Olympics from my couch dreaming about bibimbap, Seoul style.

Here’s a great article I found about watching the 2018 Winter Olympics. It covers some questions I had about streaming and watching through virtual reality. Interesting read! Have an olympic sized weekend, everyone, and thanks for reading!

What Should I See at Singapore Changi Airport?

I don’t mind spending time in airports when they are fun to explore. And some airports, well I just can’t get on a plane and get out of them fast enough. Singapore Changi Airport has been rated the #1 airport since 2013. That’s quite an honor! I’ll be transiting through Changi Airport and will have some time to explore and hopefully see why it’s rated #1. Having never been there before, so I wanted to ask you all what you think I should see and enjoy while I’m at Changi. I’d appreciate any ideas, so let me know in the comments below. Thanks everyone!

Something Good to Say About British Airways… Yes, Really!

I had no idea how this story would go. And until recently, it wasn’t looking good. I was REALLY pissed off at British Airways, and here’s why. On a British Airways flight from London Heathrow (LHR) to Las Vegas (LAS), a flight attendant spilled wine all over my Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones and they stopped working. Sitting in business class, I did get a lot of attention from the flight crew after this happened. There was wine all over my seat, too. I was told there was not another empty seat on the plane, so the crew put layers of blankets on my seat to cover up the spill. But for the next 10 hours, my seat smelled like wine, and oddly enough, the flight attendants never wiped down the area of the console where the wine spilled.

Andaz Papagayo Resort Part 3: The Food is Expensive, but Delicious

Good morning everyone.  Here is the final part of my Andaz Papagayo Resort review.  Part 1 had photos of the resort, part 2 had photos of my room, and today’s post will have photos of the food, menus, and a MONKEY?!  Yes, believe it or not, one of the local monkeys jumped on my table as I was eating lunch and ran off with my tortillas!  I didn’t think he was going to grab my tortillas, so I slowly reached into my pocket to take out my phone, and as I was pressing the photo button, he grabbed my tortillas and ran.

With that said, I really liked the food at the resort, but it is expensive.  In this post, I will show you my 2 breakfast meals and 2 lunch meals.  We had late breakfasts and late lunches so we wouldn’t be hungry for dinner.  I also included photos of my receipts that show how expensive each item was.  As of February 7, the exchange rate is $1 US Dollar = ~570 Costa Rican Dollars.
