Unboxing my American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card: Card Art & Welcome Documents

Good morning everyone.  A few days ago, I wrote about my American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card approval process and how quickly you are upgraded to Hilton Diamond Elite Status after getting approved.  In today’s post, I am going to unbox the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card welcome packet, details from the welcome letters, and show you the front and back card art.  Luckily, when I was on the phone with American Express, I requested that the credit card be expedited to me.  I received an email on Monday morning that my new credit card was shipped, and by Tuesday afternoon, the new credit card arrived via UPS Next Day Air.

How Quickly Does Hilton Diamond Elite Status Appear After Getting Approved for AMEX Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card?

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  Last week, I did a credit card App-O-Rama and applied for the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  The credit card has a $450 annual fee, but comes with a 100,000 Hilton points sign up bonus ($4,000 spend in 3 months), Hilton Diamond Elite Status, $250 airline travel credit, $250 Hilton resort credit, 1 free weekend night certificate and a few other benefits (read Doctor of Credit’s full review).  It sounds like a great deal, at least for the first year, so I applied for the credit card.

Unfortunately, my application went pending and I decided to wait for a call or letter in the mail from American Express.  I felt pretty confident that I could get approved for this credit card because I had an existing American Express SPG Business Credit Card and an American Express Hilton Honors Ascend Credit Card that I could use for leverage to get approved for the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long to hear from American Express…

Sortable Table of Eligible Properties for $200 Semi Annual Hilton Resort Credit

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  Yesterday, American Express and Hilton updated their list of properties that are eligible for the $200 semi annual Hilton resort credit on the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  The current list (found here) contains 256 properties (as of 9/24/24), but they are grouped by Brand Name, not sorted alphabetically by property name or country.  This makes it difficult to find a property or see which properties are available in certain cities or countries around the world.  I decided to take a crack at the list and add the city and country for each property and make the list sortable and searchable.

For some international properties, I was not sure which part of the property address was the city vs province / state / territory, so I need your help.  Please review the list and let me know if the city listed next to a specific property is incorrect and I will update the table.

How to Fix a Rejected Hilton Honors Gold Elite Status Enrollment (AMEX Platinum Card Benefit)

Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going well.  I have a strange edge case that I wanted to share, in case anyone else is in this situation.  Long story short, I downgraded my American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card to the no annual fee American Express Hilton Honors Credit Card in May 2022 but my Hilton Diamond Elite Status remained for almost a year.  A few weeks after my Hilton elite status dropped to Hilton Silver Elite Status, I went to my American Express Business Platinum Card and navigated to the Hilton Honors Gold Status Enrollment benefit.

I entered my Hilton Honors number and submitted the request.  A few weeks later (I forgot to check after submitting the request), I went back to the benefit and saw that it said “Enrollment Rejected.”

Hilton Timeshare Vacation Package Deals: $299 for 4 Night Stay + 150,000 HH Points (7 Destinations Available) [Expires January 10]

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  I just received a great timeshare vacation package offer from Hilton Grand Vacations that should be available to everyone.  There are 7 destinations available to choose from and the cost is $299 for a 4 Night / 5 Day stay, plus you will get 150,000 Hilton Honors Points.  150K HH Points is worth $750 to me, so Hilton Grand Vacations is giving you a 4 night stay + $750 in points in exchange for paying $299 and attending a 2 hour timeshare sales presentation.  That is a pretty sweet deal!  I have experience with timeshare sales presentations and they are not too bad.  I will go through the booking process to show you what it is like, what is included, and how much it costs.

Here is the email I received and here is the link to the landing page.  This offer expires on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, so act fast if you are interested.
