May is here and that might mean one of your favorite Hilton Honors’ promotions is here: Double Points! Starting May 1, Hilton Honors members can earn Double Points on every stay through August 31.

  1. Registered Hilton Honors members earn Double Points on every stay
  2. For every $1 spent on stays, you’ll earn 10 Base Points, plus an additional 10 Bonus Points (5 Base Points plus 5 Bonus Points at Home2 Suite by Hilton and Tru by Hilton). Silver, Gold & Diamond members will earn their Elite Tier Bonus on top of that.
  3. Promotion Stay Period May 1 – August 31, 2018

PSA: American Express Hilton Honors Credit Card Now Has No Foreign Transaction Fees!

It’s obvious that we would rather have credit cards with NO foreign transaction fees, right? After all, we travel a lot and don’t want to spend more than we have to, especially when it comes to pesky fees. Over the last few years we’ve seen more and more banks and credit card issuers either change their cards with these fees to no fee cards, or from the start offer us cards with no foreign transaction fees. I got this reminder email recently and in case you’ve forgotten, the no annual fee American Express Hilton Honors Credit Card now has NO foreign transaction fees! American Express Hilton Aspire $250 Airline Fee Credits Post Quickly

Good morning everyone.  A few weeks ago, I received my American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card and I have been busy meeting the $4,000 minimum spend requirement and taking advantage of all the card benefits.  This credit card includes a $250 airline fee credit very similar to the American Express Platinum Charge Cards.  You select your airline of choice, make qualifying purchases, and get reimbursed up to $250 every calendar year.  I decided to test this out and see how quickly the airline fee credits post.  Result: these airline fee credits post incredibly quickly!  Scroll down to learn more about the $250 airline fee credit.

How to Remove Closed American Express Credit Cards from your Online Account

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  During my recent App-O-Rama, I applied for the new American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  Even though I didn’t get instantly approved, I received a call from American Express asking me if I wanted to close 2 existing American Express credit cards so that I could be approved for the new American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  Long story short, I closed my existing American Express Hilton Honors Ascend Credit Card and American Express SPG Business Credit Card in order to be approved for the new American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card.  The decision was pretty easy to make, considering both credit cards just had annual fees post and I didn’t want to keep those credit cards another year.

Fast forward to now and my closed American Express credit cards still show up in my online account.  In this post, I will show you how to remove a closed American Express credit or charge card from your online account.  This process will work for open credit / charge cards, personal and business cards, and authorized user cards.  The first thing you need to do is log into your American Express online account.
