Best Southwest Airlines Boarding & Safety Announcement One-Liners (Share Your Favorites)

Good afternoon everyone.  I don’t know about you, but I just love flying Southwest Airlines.  And one of the many reasons why I enjoy flying Southwest Airlines is the happy attitude of the flight attendants, pilots, and crew.  Normally, after boarding a Southwest Airlines flight, I start watching free TV or listen to my music, but every now and then, I listen to the flight attendant announcements.  Here are 3 examples of funny Southwest Airlines one-liners that come to mind.

1. After all the passengers are seated and the plane begins to push back from the gate, the flight attendant comes on the speaker and says:

Attention passengers, did someone lose a wallet?  Now that I have your attention, let’s go through the safety announcements for this flight.

Do You Use A Packable Backpack? Help Me Choose My Next One!

I might not be willing to bet on the World Series, but I’d be willing to bet there are certain items that go with you on every trip. I certainly have some on my “always take” list, and their usefulness often spills over to when I’m home. I find myself using them around town, too. I’m talking about my packable backpack. I’ve been using the same one from Hikpro for quite some time now, and no matter what color I buy it in, I like it. It’s light and had held up well. Now I need a new one and something occurred to me. Do you Want to View Passwords in the AwardWallet App?

Good morning everyone.  During the Chicago Seminars, Dia @ The Deal Mommy mentioned wanting the ability to view passwords in the AwardWallet app.  I thought about it for a minute and totally agree with her.  If you can view passwords on the desktop version of AwardWallet, you should have the same ability on the AwardWallet app.  At the end of this post, I have a reader poll – please vote and let me know if you would use this new feature.

Here is what the current version of the AwardWallet app looks like.  You can sign in using Face ID (iPhone X or XS) or a PIN, so the app is pretty secure.  I then went to my KLM account (since I had a 0 mile balance) to see if I could view my password.  I clicked the Edit button, since that seemed like the most logical place to view the password (and that is how the desktop version of AwardWallet works).

When Will the 6,000 Wyndham Rewards Anniversary Points Post to My Account?

Good morning everyone.  I had a great time at the Chicago Seminars travel conference and enjoyed meeting several TWG readers over the weekend.  It is always great to put names to faces.  In credit card news, my $75 annual fee posted to my Barclays Wyndham Rewards Credit Card on August 31.  One of the main reasons (or only reasons) to keep the credit card is the 6,000 anniversary points.  I was anxious for the 6,000 anniversary points to post to my Wyndham Rewards account, but the points posted slower than I expected.
