Capital One Spark Miles Business Credit Card Application Process & Welcome Documents

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  2 weeks ago I applied for the Capital One Spark Miles Business Credit Card.  I haven’t had a personal or business Capital One credit card in many years (despite submitting a few credit card applications over the years).  I decided to give Capital One another chance since they recently improved the transfer ratios to almost all of their transfer partners to 1:1 (1,000 Capital One Miles = 1,000 airline miles).  This time, my Capital One application was instantly approved!  In this post, I will share details of the application process and the welcome documents I received from Capital One.

Are Points Posting Slower from Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card? [Fixed Now]

Updated on 10/8/21 at 11:45am PT: I believe this issue is fixed now.  My recent statement closed on October 5 and my Wyndham Rewards Points posted to my account on October 6.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  I’ve written a few posts about the new Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card over the last few months including this recent article: More Barclays Business Credit Cards Bugs & Finance Charge / Interest Fee Errors.  I may have discovered another issue with Wyndham Rewards Points posting very slowly from Barclays to your Wyndham Rewards account.

As you can see, I received 716 points on 9/21/21.  Before September, my points would post between the 5th and 8th of every month, usually 1 day after my statement closes.  The description also changed from “Barclays Earning” to “Barclays Marketing, Advertising, Utilities Earning”.

Wyndham Timeshare Vacation Package: 3 Nights + 15K Points for $199 in Las Vegas, Orlando, Oceanside & Myrtle Beach

Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going well.  This morning, I received an email from Wyndham Vacation Resorts for a 3 night stay in Las Vegas, Orlando, Oceanside & Myrtle Beach + 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points for $199.  These vacation packages require attending a 2 hour timeshare presentation (please see the terms and conditions before booking).  I’m not sure if this matters, but I am in California, I have Wyndham Rewards Diamond Elite Status and have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card.  You need to book your reservation by October 31 and you must complete your stay within 12 months.  Here is the email I received from Wyndham Vacation Resorts:

More Barclays Business Credit Cards Bugs & Finance Charge / Interest Fee Errors

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  A few weeks ago, I wrote Barclays Business Credit Cards Now Visible on App & Website (Along with Bugs and Earner Grow Card).  Since then, there have been other issues / errors with Barclays: PSA: Check Barclays Accounts For Erroneous Foreign Transaction Fees and Some Barclays Wyndham Earner Business Cardholders Being Charged $149 Annual Fee (Should Be $95).  These seem to be growing pains for Barclays as they bring business credit cards onto their personal website and app platforms.  Unfortunately, it looks like I can add one more issue to the list: finance charge / interest fee errors.  Let me explain…

I received the following email regarding my Barclays Wyndham Rewards Business Earner Credit Card statement.  The amount was for $145.13 and payment was due on September 30.

5 Buy Miles / Points Promos Ending Soon: Alaska (60%), Hyatt (25%), Wyndham (25%), Southwest (65%) & Etihad (60%)

Good afternoon everyone, happy Friday!  I was working on my Buy Miles & Points Page and found 5 offers that are ending in the next week.  Always check the math to make sure that buying miles & points makes sense for you.  Do not buy miles & points speculatively unless you have a use in mind.  With that said, here are 5 offers that end soon.  Up first, Alaska Airlines is offering up to a 60% bonus, depending on the number of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles you purchase.  This offer expires on August 23.
