Good morning everyone. Today, tickets to the Frequent Traveler University (FTU) Travel Expo and FTU Signature go on sale. Some of your/my favorite travel bloggers will be in Chicago in mid November to share their travel knowledge, photography, and stories from the road. I was just at FTU Advanced in Minneapolis a few weekends ago and I had a great time. I might even speak at this coming FTU conference about hacking Southwest Airlines, hacking US Bank FlexPoints, or my credit card retention/reconsideration strategies. Stay tuned…

I’ve been to so many FTU events over the years that I have lost track. My first FTU event was FTU LAX in December 2012 and I have had an amazing time going to all the events since. I have made so many amazing friends from FTU conferences, I’ve even gone on trips with friends I made at these events. I love being around people who don’t think it’s crazy that I have 30+ credit cards or that I go to airports just to use the lounges. A pivotal FTU event in April 2013 was in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia (just outside Washington, D.C.) where I listed to Chris Guillebeau (who is speaking at FTU Expo). After listening to his speech and reading his book The $100 Startup ($12.50 on Amazon), I decided to start Travel with Grant. It is amazing to think that I used to go to the conferences and listen to all the amazing bloggers talk about their tips and trips, and now I call most of those bloggers my friends.
Long story short, if you have never been to an FTU event, it really can change your life. I hope you check it out and I look forward to seeing you there in mid November. Have a great day everyone!
P.S. I will also be at the Chicago Seminars in mid October, I hope to see some of you there as well.

What part looks to be an error? I tested the $10 off $249 and the final price was $239.
My bad, I did not understand the were different, FTU Travel Expo and FTU Signature. The both use the same promo code.
No worries, there is only 1 promo code to remember :)
