$10 Off Frequent Traveler University (FTU) Expo & Signature Tickets (Chicago November 17-19)

Good morning everyone.  Today, tickets to the Frequent Traveler University (FTU) Travel Expo and FTU Signature go on sale.  Some of your/my favorite travel bloggers will be in Chicago in mid November to share their travel knowledge, photography, and stories from the road.  I was just at FTU Advanced in Minneapolis a few weekends ago and I had a great time.  I might even speak at this coming FTU conference about hacking Southwest Airlines, hacking US Bank FlexPoints, or my credit card retention/reconsideration strategies. Stay tuned…

FTU Travel Expo – Marriott O’Hare Hotel, Chicago – Saturday, November 18, 2017

FTU Travel Expo will comprise of 36,000 sq ft of exhibition space and 4 simultaneous educational stages. Upwards of 3,000 travelers are expected to attend. With sponsors such as Marriott and Norwegian Airlines, we will have travelers of all experience levels. Confirmed speakers include FTU regulars plus guest speakers Rudy Maxa, Nomadic Matt, Chris Guillebeau, Chris McGinnis & Johnny Jet, and more.

Tickets are $39, but if you purchase by July 31, you can save $10 with promo code FTUEARLY (link)

FTU Signature expands our FTU Advanced format and is for intermediate to advanced miles and points travelers. FTU Signature is a full weekend of exclusive seminars, meet the experts sessions, and social activities. Signature attendees have full access to Expo.

I’ve been to so many FTU events over the years that I have lost track.  My first FTU event was FTU LAX in December 2012 and I have had an amazing time going to all the events since.  I have made so many amazing friends from FTU conferences, I’ve even gone on trips with friends I made at these events.  I love being around people who don’t think it’s crazy that I have 30+ credit cards or that I go to airports just to use the lounges.  A pivotal FTU event in April 2013 was in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia (just outside Washington, D.C.) where I listed to Chris Guillebeau (who is speaking at FTU Expo).  After listening to his speech and reading his book The $100 Startup ($12.50 on Amazon), I decided to start Travel with Grant.  It is amazing to think that I used to go to the conferences and listen to all the amazing bloggers talk about their tips and trips, and now I call most of those bloggers my friends.

Long story short, if you have never been to an FTU event, it really can change your life.  I hope you check it out and I look forward to seeing you there in mid November.  Have a great day everyone!

P.S. I will also be at the Chicago Seminars in mid October, I hope to see some of you there as well.
