Evolve Money Update: 3% Fee for Prepaid Debit Cards and Gift Cards Beginning February 24

Good afternoon everyone, today is the last day to use prepaid debit cards and gift cards on Evolve Money without paying a 3% fee.  Starting tomorrow (February 24), Evolve Money will begin adding the 3% fee to all bill payments paid for with a prepaid debit cards and gift cards.  There is also a hint as to what is coming: increased limits on transactions (payments for more than $999) which could be useful for people paying larger bills like mortgages.

Evolve Money Update Debit Cards Payments

Like I mentioned this morning, you can schedule payments for the future (March and April) to *try* to avoid the 3% fee.  It is still yet to be determined if these scheduled payments will be processed fee-free.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

Does anyone know if the UFB Direct debit card will be subject to a fee. Evolve says you have to try it to see but I don’t really want to get one if it won’t work. Thanks
