New PayPal My Cash Cards and Online Loading Process (Light Blue PPMCC 0215v1)

Update and Warning: the purpose of this post was to show what the new PPMCCs looked like and show how the PPMCC loading website has changed.  I did not mention the danger of using PPMCCs as a way to MS and I wanted to make it very clear that PPMCCs are very dangerous, if you value your PayPal account.  If you withdraw funds from your PayPal account or transfer funds to another PayPal account, you will receive a warning email from PayPal.  If you continue, they may freeze your account and hold the funds in your account for up to 6 months.  For most people, it is better to stay far, far away from PPMCCs.  You have been warned.

Good evening everyone, I stopped by my local CVS and noticed a new gift card on the gift card rack.  The traditional white PayPal My Cash Card (PPMCC) has changed and is now mostly light blue.  The loading process is almost identical to before, but has a better user interface now.  Just like the Vanilla Reload Cards back in the day (RIP old friend), these cards have a date stamp (0215v1) which means February 2015, version 1.  I was able to purchase this card with my credit card at CVS without any problems.  The card says reusable on the front, so I wonder how that would work.

To load the PayPal My Cash Card to your PayPal account, go to https://www.paypal-cash.com/ and enter the 10 digit PIN on the back of the PayPal My Cash Card.  Then click the Log In With PayPal button to sign into your PayPal account.

Verify the amount on the PayPal My Cash Card and then click the Load It Up button.  Confirm your load amount and then click the Yes, Load It Up button.  The confirmation screen shows details of your transaction.  You can load up to $500 per day and up to $4,000 per month.

According to the PayPal My Cash Card website, you can load your PayPal account directly at 3 merchants (Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Freds) as of April 21, 2015.

In contrast, you can purchase PayPal My Cash Cards at the following merchants.  The list looks pretty similar to the list from before.  I don’t recognize any additions or subtractions from the list.  If you see any, please let me know.

I became extremely familiar over the past three months with all the ins and out of ppmcc and have figured out many loopholes and have successfully loaded up 40k in ppmcc in 1 month alone and had it in cash successfully without being flagged. Every store has there own rules and different kind of processing machines hence certain stores can sell them and others can also reload them, some stores think they can’t reload it because when you say reload they go under universal reloads but if only they think you took it off the shelf and they scanned the back as if your buying it for the first time the reload will go through… ( and if you dig deeper you’ll find a way to reload them without actually paying for them, trust me!!) I don’t know what I would do without these cards!!

And BTW small detail that could help you guys if you go to certain stores for example acme markets they offer up to $200 cash back on debit purchases, so I would literally go down four isles and each time buy 1 chocolate and it comes up as a $201 doller purchase and visit 3 such stores a day..etc..

For the last month I have not been able to find any Pay Pal My Cash cards. I have tried all of the place that normally have them in the Picayune, MS and Slidell,LA area- Dollar Generals, Family Dollars, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid,Fred’s, Valero. Non of them have had them for a long time. Some of them say it’s been weeks since they have had any.

I bought a cash card today, I put 115$ on it. Everytime I try to enter the pin, I get an error that says “NEED_MORE_DATA”, any idea of what this means? I’ve heard you don’t need to enter your SSN in your account to be able to activate these cards onto your account, I hope that’s not that problem here. I’ve been trying to put money on my account for hours with no luck.

Hmm, I’m not sure what the error message means. Try again tomorrow and see if it works. If not, try calling the number on the back of the card and ask the rep for help.

I have the same issue with a card loaded with $40. And I have my SSN# and a bank account linked (the former being something they said was required). Calling them has led to nothing helpful. I’ve called PayPal customer service, plus the customer service number on the back on the card (which a third-party, by the way). The last PayPal rep told me the error was an INTERNET issue, and I’m like, “No, I think not, but I’ll try another connection anyway”. Well, here I am at my local library and zilch. I have tried from my Sprint phone and a second connection, 2 DIFFERENT verified PayPal accounts, and cleared Chrome cache and cookies, still the same “NEED_MORE_DATA” error every time. I’m wondering if the card was setup correctly, even though when I call the number on the card, the IVR does see the $40. I don’t know what else to try, accept go through the 10-14 business day wait to get a paper check. When it took me all of 45 seconds to give them the money. SMH

I tried several different stores today that I actually found the My Cash cards in but you cannot load them at the register, Dollar General comes up with the error, suspected fraud, transaction aborted, CVS simply gets the error, cannot be loaded, remove all cards from shelf.
