Good afternoon everyone! I hope you had an enjoyable Indigenous Peoples’ Day or a festive Canadian Thanksgiving (both celebrated on October 13 this year). Speaking of giving thanks, I want to thank the Atmos Rewards team for adding one of my favorite perks (free point sharing) to the Bank of America Atmos Rewards Summit Credit Card. This was one of the best features on the Barclays Hawaiian Airlines Credit Card, and I’m thrilled to see it available on the new Summit credit card.
Laura generously offered to share her Atmos Rewards points with me, so I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of sharing points with another account.
Step 1: Sign into your Atmos Rewards account and Find the Right Option
After logging into your account, click the Rewards tile. Don’t be distracted by the Buy, Share, or Gift Points tile – those options cost money.
Next, click the Points Sharing tile. Avoid the Points Transfer tile – that’s for moving Atmos Rewards points to hotel programs (like Wyndham, Shangri-La, iPrefer, IHG, and Marriott) at a 1,000:1,000 ratio.
Step 2: Send an Invitation
Click Send an Invite to begin. You can send up to 10 invitations, and once accepted, your invitees remain in your sharing network for 365 days.
Enter your recipient’s first name, last name, and Atmos Rewards number, then click Continue.
Confirm the details and click Send.
Success, your invitation is on its way.
Step 3: Wait for the Invitation to Be Accepted
Until your recipient accepts, they’ll appear with an Invited status. You can resend the invitation anytime by clicking the three-dot icon next to their name.
A few moments later, Laura received an email and clicked Accept Invitation.
After signing into her account, she clicked Accept.
Then the status changed to a green Connected circle above my name. If she ever wants to stop sharing points with me (gasp!), she can click the same three-dot icon.
Step 4: Transfer Points
Laura decided to transfer all 2,754 Atmos Rewards points to my account. She entered 2,754 and clicked Continue.
She reviewed the details, and then clicked Confirm.
Success! The points instantly transferred to my account.
Now, Laura has a balance of 0 points. Time to apply for a new Atmos Rewards credit card!
Step 5: Verify the Transfer
To view the transfer details, Laura clicked her profile drop down menu and then Points Activity. Her transfer appeared with the description “SPECIAL SERVICES TRANSFER MILES”.
Back over in my account, I saw the 2,754 points with “SPECIAL SERVICES TRANSFER POINTS” listed in my activity, along with my 5,000 point “BANK OF AMERICA SUMMIT CARD REGISTRATION BONUS.”
I also received two emails confirming that Laura joined my network and she sent me 2,754 points. Thanks Laura!
Step 6: Manage Your Network
From my account, I can transfer points back to Laura (any amount from 1 point up to my entire balance) or remove her from my network (I would never!)

Another fantastic post. Useful, well explained, and relevant to most Alaska folk. I failed to convert my MR’s to Hawaiian last summer when they had the bonus transfer rate and it was known that the merger would occur. Stupid of me. I did finally transfer my 1.5M MR’s to Hawaiian and then onto Alaska via the process you showed. We now have almost 3M Alaska miles after both me and my wife got the Ascent and Summit cards. So any consistent focus you can put on the integrated program will be much appreciated.

I am interested in putting my Companion Fares from the various Bank of America and Barclays CCs to good use and seeing how those discounts will evolve over the coming years.
With your Summit CCs, have you been able to take advantage of the AS lounge passes and AS WiFi passes? Did you have a good experience using them?
No, I haven’t tried either passes yet. Actually, just yesterday I familiarized myself with that whole new presentation page of rewards. Seems nicely consolidated to you see everything. I’ll let you know if we try them on our trip to Vegas in 4 weeks. I am very curious what you unearth as you start to work with the program in the coming years. I still make stupid mistakes that I’d avoid if I paid closer attention to your posts.

“One Mileage Plan or HawaiianMiles mile = one Atmos Rewards point. The value of points does not change, and points do not expire. Members can continue to redeem for travel on Alaska, Hawaiian and our global partners.”

Can you please confirm the business Hawaiian card has that benefit? I know it did before merger, just wanting to confirm.
Hi Sloppy, I don’t have the Barclays Hawaiian Airlines Business CC to check, but I think all the Hawaiian Airlines miles were moved over to your Atmos Rewards account. Now that all the miles are Atmos Rewards points, I believe you will need the Bank of America Atmos Rewards Summit CC to share points with other members.
