Ask Me Anything (AMA) about Vacasa Vacation Rentals or Booking with Wyndham Rewards Points

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  A few weeks ago, Laura and I went to Hawaii for vacation.  During that trip, we stayed at a total of 3 Vacasa Vacation Rentals on Maui and Oahu.  I have 7 different Vacasa stays under my belt, so I wanted to reach out to readers to see if they had any questions about booking or staying at Vacasa properties.  A few months ago, I wrote Stop Ignoring Vacasa Vacation Rentals! Get Awesome Condos for 13,500 Wyndham Rewards Points per Night.  I also wrote Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points is Really Easy (Just Call).  With that said, here are the Vacasa properties and dates of my past stays:

Stop Ignoring Vacasa Vacation Rentals! Get Awesome Condos for 13,500 Wyndham Rewards Points per Night

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  A few days ago, I booked 3 more Vacasa Vacation Rentals for an upcoming trip to Maui and Oahu.  I am a huge fan of Vacasa (especially in Hawaii) and the booking process is pretty easy, you just need to call Wyndham Rewards. The price is right too at only 13,500 Wyndham Rewards Points per bedroom per night, if you have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner+ Credit Card or the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card (or 15,000 points per bedroom per night without the credit card).  Here are the 6 Vacasa properties in Hawaii that I have booked and stayed at / will stay at.  There are actually a few ways to earn Wyndham Rewards Points that I will show you later in the post.  Let’s get started.

Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points is Really Easy (Just Call)

Good afternoon everyone.  A few months ago in April 2021, I wrote about My Experience Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points.  The booking process has come a long way since April, so I wanted to provide an update and show how easy and quick it is to book a Vacasa Vacation Rental using your Wyndham Rewards Points.  Here are the steps I recommend:

Start your search here: https://www.vacasa.com/search?maxbeds=1&maxrate=350&place=/usa/ (this will show all properties that have 1 bedroom and cost less than $350 / night)
Enter the city or state you are interested in
Enter your check in and check out dates (this will only show properties that are available for the duration of your stay)
Then look at all the properties that have ratings / reviews, focusing your attention on properties that have the best / most / recent ratings
Then look at the photos and read the description (some properties charge a resort fee or parking)
Once you have identified your top 1-3 properties, it is time to book the reservation

For an upcoming trip to Maui, I settled on this Vacasa Vacation Rental: Hale Kai O Kihei 207 – Kihei, HI

My Good & Bad Experience with 2 Vacasa Vacation Rentals in Hawaii (Booked with Wyndham Rewards Points)

Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  A few months ago, I booked 6 nights in Kauai (4 in Princeville and 2 in Poipu) with Wyndham Rewards Points for stays at 2 different Vacasa vacation rentals (read My Experience Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points).  Since I have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card, I get a 10% discount on all awards stays, so the cost per night was 13,500 Wyndham Rewards Points (or 81,000 points total for 6 nights).  In this post, I will share the good and bad experience I had with these 2 Vacasa vacation rentals.
