Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card: 10,000 Bonus Thank You Points Post Before $95 Annual Fee

Good morning everyone, happy Sunday.  Last June, I applied for the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card and have been waiting all year for the annual fee to post.  Why?  When you spend $10,000 or more on the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card during your cardmember year, you will receive 10,000 bonus Citi Thank You Points when you anniversary comes around.  In this post, I will shows you when the 10,000 bonus Citi Thank You Points post and when the $95 annual fee posts (hint: the bonus points post before the annual fee).  Here are a few pages from the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card directory of services:

Should you Downgrade to the No Annual Fee Citi AT&T Access Credit Card?

Good morning everyone, happy Wednesday.  Yesterday, Citi sent out emails to all Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card members telling them that Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card will Earn 1x for Gift Card Purchases & Real Estate Payments (Effective July 22, 2017).  This caused mass panic in the miles and points community and got me thinking, is there a better card to use than the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card?  Maybe!

I searched on Google for a no annual fee Citi AT&T credit card and stumbled onto the Citi AT&T Access Credit Card that has no annual fee.  That credit card has a 10,000 Citi Thank You Point sign up bonus and earns 2x for online purchases and AT&T purchases, and 1x on all other purchases.  Unfortunately, that credit card does not offer a 10,000 Citi Thank You Point bonus when you spend $10,000 or more during your cardmember year.  This credit card also has the same change in earning on gift card purchases and real estate payments effective July 22, 2017.

Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card will Earn 1x for Gift Card Purchases & Real Estate Payments (Effective July 22, 2017)

Good morning everyone, I just received an email from Citi regarding my Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card.  Effective July 22, 2017, purchases of gift cards, reloading of gift cards, rent payments, and real estate payments will only earn 1x Citi Thank You Point, instead of the standard 3x Citi Thank You Points for the “online purchases” category.  This is really bad news for anyone who normally makes those purchases expecting to earn 3x Citi Thank You Points.

How to Cancel Airline Tickets Booked with Citi ThankYou Points

Good morning everyone.  A few weeks ago, I redeemed my Citi Thank You Points for an American Airlines flight that was a code share with Alaska Airlines.  By booking the American Airlines code share flight instead of the Alaska Airlines flight, I was able to get 1.6 cents per point (CPP) for my Citi Thank You Point redemption.  This redemption value is only going to be around until July 27, 2017, then all flights booked with Citi Thank You Points will only get 1.25 CPP in value.  At the time, I was very pleased with the redemption value, but then a few weeks later, my travel plans changed and I no longer needed that flight.

Luckily, a schedule change occurred and I was able to cancel my airline reservation for free and get my Citi Thank You Points redeposited into my account.  In this post, I will explain the process of cancelling an airline reservation and getting your Citi Thank You Points redeposited.

Book One Way Award Flights to Hawaii on Delta for 15,000 KLM / Air France Flying Blue Miles

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  A few nights ago, I was helping a friend find and book award tickets from the Bay Area to Kauai, Hawaii (LIH – Lihue, Hawaii).  She is a teacher and wanted to travel over Spring Break next year. Her Spring Break is the first week of April and Easter is on April 1, 2018, so she wanted to leave right after Easter.  I went to Google Flights to see what flight options were available but their flight calendar doesn’t show any flights past April 1, 2018 (if you are reading this post after May 8, then it should show you later dates).
