5 Buy Miles / Points Promos Ending Soon: IHG (100%), Air Canada (80%), Radisson Hotels Americas (100%), Marriott (55%) & Avianca (140%)

Good afternoon everyone, happy Friday!  I was working on my Buy Miles & Points Page and found 5 offers that end in the next week.  Always check the math to make sure that buying miles & points makes sense for you.  Do not buy miles & points speculatively unless you have a use in mind.  With that said, here are 5 offers that end soon.  Up first, IHG Hotels is offering up to a 100% bonus, depending on the number of IHG Rewards Club Points you purchase.  This offer expires today – October 8.

Get 1 Year UPS My Choice Premium Membership for $10 (Code UPSMyChoice10) (Targeted?)

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  I just received this email from UPS regarding the 10th anniversary of UPS My Choice.  If you are not familiar with UPS My Choice, you can upgrade UPS SurePost packages from USPS to UPS Ground, you can redirect UPS packages to a local UPS Access Point (like a UPS Store), you can reschedule UPS deliveries, and reroute UPS packages for free.  Most of those UPS services cost $5-$6 per package, so this is a great deal to get unlimited services for $10 for an entire year.

Along with the email, there is a promo code (UPSMyChoice10) that you can use to get a UPS My Choice premium membership for only $10 for the first year (50% off the normal price).  You will need to click here, sign into your UPS account, and go through the UPS My Choice checkout / setup process to use the promo code.

PSA: Price Match In-Store Items with Online Items from Staples and Office Depot & Stack with Rewards

Good evening everyone, happy Friday.  A few weeks ago, my wife and I received emails regarding our Staples Rewards and Office Depot Rewards.  Somehow, I had $29 in Staples Rewards and my wife had $8.59 in Office Depot Rewards.  This afternoon, I printed out my $29 Staples Reward coupon and went to my local Staples Store to buy some ink for my printer.  Strangely, the price for the ink was more expensive at the Staples Store than on Staples.com.  When I went to check out, I asked the cashier if she would price match to the price on Staples.com and she said yes.  It seemed like a fairly common request to the cashier.  She looked at the price of the ink cartridge on Staples.com on my phone and matched the price.  I was then able to use my Staples Rewards to pay for the item.  In this post, I will show you more information regarding the price match process and show a similar process for Office Depot items.

Good afternoon everyone, happy Friday!  If you have no plans tomorrow, Saturday, October 2, I highly recommend attending the FTU Virtual Seminar (tickets available for $25) or free if you have the FTU Online Annual Membership.  The seminar starts on Saturday, October 2 at 8am PT / 11am ET.  I have attended all of the FTU Virtual Seminars over the last year and they are always well done, educational, and entertaining – and I am sure this seminar will be no exception!  Here is the schedule and lineup of speakers.

If you register for the seminar on Saturday, but are unable to watch the live stream, you can access the recording of the seminar and watch later on.  This is also a great way to re-watch your favorite presentations and catch any details that you originally missed.
