Staples Easy Rebate: Purchase $300 in Visa Gift Cards and Receive $20 Visa Gift Card (May 24-30)

Good morning everyone, Staples has another Visa Gift Card Easy Rebate offer starting this Sunday.  After spending $300 or more in Visa Gift Cards, you will receive a $20 Visa Gift Card as a rebate.  Only one rebate per household, so get creative.

This promo does not begin until Sunday, May 24, so don’t go out shopping just yet.  Here is a larger view of the Easy Rebate offer.

Staples Gift Card Easy Rebate 5-21-2015

MSing responsibly: since this offer is only for $300 in Visa Gift Cards, most people will probably purchase 2 $200 Visa Gift Cards, if available.  If I normally purchase $1,000 in gift cards a week at office supply stores, I would buy $400 worth of gift cards at Staples and then the other $600 worth of gift cards at Office Depot or Office Max, that way I leave some gift cards for others.  I know some of you will disagree with me, but that is how I MS responsibly.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

Absolutely agreeing with you about the etiquette. Some jerkoff pulled 20X$200 off the shelf this morning according to the cashier, between him and a couple other guys, they took all the $200 in the first hour.

Ya, that happens all the time. I wish Staples would keep extras behind the counter so they don’t all sell out within the first hour.

So since the rebate is 1 per household how are these guys getting the instant rebate? even if they use a different name and address, I doubt they have 10 sets of different addresses. So what’s the deal?

I don’t know for sure, but I think they use different mailing addresses or different versions of their same mailing address.

I went to Staples and found some $200 Visa’s “hidden” behind some other gift cards. It felt like I struck gold! What do you typically use the $20 rebates for? Do they allow you to buy other retailer gift cards with them?

I sometimes will use them on “lesser well known” websites if buying something small or if there are promos like free magazines, etc that require a credit card, then I save $1 on them and use those as the credit card (that way if they do a $1 hold it will still go thru). Can buy amazon gc’s with them too in any quantity which makes it easy to clear the remaining funds (use the incorrect expiration date trick) Kind of a poor mans disposable credit card.

Haha, those are good recommendations. You can also do Square if you don’t mind paying a small fee. I used to pay my Ebay seller account fees with VGCs.

Does Anyone load successful the new visa gift cards ( dark purple packing) to serve or red card? I failed both places while simon gc is workable. Call to check balance, it still $200 available

No, i used last 4 digits. When i swiped the card at target, the rejected sound and error message appear on the pad. I tried with my ATM card, it went through. I first thought gc no longer workscat target. I went to walmart and tried on kiosh. After I entered pin, the message show card is declined. I have 2 cards, both are the same. I switched to simon gc. It went through.

If you don’t see any $200 ask the manager. Not one on rack when I went. Manager brought some out. Said within the first few hours most all were gone so she pulled the remaining. At worst there were about 30 x $100 versions. That’s about $18 fee for 3 (I think the 100s are 5.95 instead of 6.95). The Visa GC rebate will cover that amount, so you’re not in the red. You’ll get 1,500 UR points instead of 2,000 but free points are free points.
