American Express Hilton Business Credit Card $50 Statement Credit Posted 4 Days Later

Good afternoon everyone. Last week, I signed up for the American Express Hilton Business Credit Card using a special link, which gave me a $50 statement credit after my first purchase, along with 100,000 Hilton Points as part of my sign up bonus.  I was curious how long it took for the statement credit to post to my account and I have good news to share.  I made a purchase on July 30 and the $50 statement credit posted to my American Express online account on August 3, roughly 4 days later.  That is pretty fast since I thought I would see the $50 statement credit on my first credit card statement.

Unboxing my Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card: Card Art, Brochure & Welcome Letter

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.  During my Mini July App-O-Rama, I was approved for the Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card (my referral link).  Then a few days later, I was matched to the 100,000 IHG Points sign up bonus offer.  Before the credit card arrived, I receive an email from Chase on August 1 that a new credit card was mailed to me.  The email did not specify which credit card, but I figured it was my new Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card.

A few days later, I received a letter in the mail, dated July 27, that I was approved for the Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card, but Chase called it the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTELS GRP World Elite card.  Even though I was only approved for a $2,000 credit limit and needed to spend $3,000 on the credit card to complete the minimum spend requirement, I wasn’t worried.  I knew I could call Chase and have them move some of my credit limit from another Chase credit card to my new Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card.

A Curious Question for Taxi Drivers

If I were a taxi driver, there’s one question I would ask every passenger who got into my taxi: “Why aren’t you using Uber or Lyft?” This may seem like an odd question, but hear me out.  I rarely use Uber or Lyft. When I travel, I walk or use mass transit as much as I can. As you might recall, I do have a taxi service I use to get to the airport, and only on rare occasions have I had anything but good experiences with this service. They charge me a flat fee that’s as good as or better than Uber/Lyft. Continue reading
