Statement Credits Post Fast for $100 Shop with Dell Benefit + Dell 10% Cash Back AMEX Offer

Good afternoon everyone.  Last week, I wrote American Express Business Platinum Stack: $100 Shop with Dell Benefit + Dell 10% Cash Back AMEX Offer.  Fast forward to yesterday, I received my Dell order and my $100 Shop with Dell statement credit, along with the $10.74 cash back earned from the Dell 10% cash back AMEX Offer.  When the dust had all settled, my American Express Business Platinum Charge Card has a credit balance of $3.32 (the closer your order came to exactly $100, the greater your credit balance will be).

American Express Changes Details of Cash Advances, Contactless Transactions & Business Gold Card Top Categories

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  I was reviewing my recent American Express statements and saw a few changes that I wanted to bring to your attention.  As far as I can tell, none of these changes are major, but if you see anything that stands out to you, please let me know in the comments.  There were 3 changes to details regarding cash advances, contactless transactions, and the American Express Business Gold Card.  These notices appeared on all of my American Express cards.  The first change is regarding cash advances.  I wasn’t able to find the current definition of cash advances, but the new definition of cash advances includes “cash equivalents” and I am not sure if that means gift cards or not.

American Express Business Platinum Stack: $100 Shop with Dell Benefit + Dell 10% Cash Back AMEX Offer

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  Yesterday, Frequent Miler wrote about the new Shop with Dell benefit for American Express Business Platinum Charge Card holders.  I wanted to add onto that idea with my experience buying from Dell and stacking 2 deals: the $100 Shop with Dell benefit and a Dell AMEX Offer.  To get started, sign into your American Express account and go to Benefits on your American Express Business Platinum Charge Card.  Then click the Get Started button.

Barclays Wyndham Rewards Credit Card Holder / Platinum Elite Member? Don’t Forget About Your 3,000 Anniversary Points

Good morning everyone. A few days ago, AwardWallet notified me that my Wyndham Rewards points balance went up 3,000 points.  I did not transfer La Quinta Returns Points to Wyndham Rewards Points and I haven’t used my Barclays Wyndham Rewards Credit Card in several months, so I was very surprised to see the 3,000 bonus points in my account.  I vaguely remember when I first got the credit card that having the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Credit Card makes me a Wyndham Rewards Platinum Elite Member.  And as a Wyndham Rewards Platinum Elite Member, I get 3,000 annual bonus points.  Mystery solved!

Keep, Cancel or Convert? Barclays JetBlue Plus Credit Card ($99 Annual Fee)

Good morning everyone.  As part of my “Keep, Cancel or Convert?” series, I like to evaluate and reevaluate credit cards to make sure they still deserve a spot in my wallet (or at least my credit card drawer).  A few weeks ago, the $99 annual fee posted to my Barclays JetBlue Plus Credit Card.  I don’t fly JetBlue very often, but I do enjoy getting a 10% rebate on my redeemed miles and getting 5,000 bonus anniversary points every year.  Those 2 benefits alone are probably worth close to $99, depending on how much you value JetBlue points and how many JetBlue points you redeem.  So the question is, is this card a keeper?  I was leaning toward keeping the credit card, but I decided to call Barclays and ask if there were any retention offers available anyway.  Good thing I called…
