iTunes Movie Rental Playback Extended from 24 Hours to 48 Hours

When you travel, do you download movies or shows beforehand so you can watch them whenever you feel like it? I’m sure you do! I do too. But there’s something that’s always bugged me. iTunes only gave its customers in the U.S. 24 hours to watch media once viewing started. Customers outside of the U.S. were given 48 hours. I know, not the most pressing of problems, but I did find it annoying. After all, whether at home or while traveling, we’re all busy and sometimes 24 hours just isn’t adequate. But iTunes must have heard me complaining because… Apple just extended it to 48 hours in U.S., too!

Now, if they’d only increase their 99 cent movie rental choices to include something I want to see :))

$6.50 Lift Tickets for Snowmass 50th Anniversary (December 15)

Do you ski? I grew up skiing, and still today, skiing is one of my all-time favorite ways to spend time. That’s why this great deal caught my eye! Dust off your ski gear! Aspen’s Snowmass mountain celebrates its 50th anniversary with retro parties and super cheap lift tickets. Sure, it’s only September, but deals like this and ski trips are great to know about in advance!

7 Things to do in New York City (First Day of Fall Edition)

Autumn is here! I’m definitely biased, but in my opinion, Fall is hands down the best season in New York City. With the leaves changing, holidays vastly approaching, pumpkin spice everywhere and, most importantly, the weather is finally cooling off. Although this Summer in New York City was fairly mild, it was still overbearingly warm and humid. With Fall here, the weather begins to cool down which makes being outdoors much more pleasant. Here are 7 things to do as we close the chapter on Summer and welcome Fall with open arms.

1. Explore Central Park

Central Park is a hot spot every season, but especially in Fall. The leaves begin to change to the most beautiful multi-color shades, fall to the ground and make great piles to toss in the air and watch them sprinkle down. You’re transported from a bustling city to a calming oasis. For an even more special view of New York City, rent a rowboat at the boathouse for $15 an hour (seats 4).

$10 Statement Credits Posted from US Bank ApplePay Promo

Good morning everyone, I have another short post to share this morning.  When I woke up, I had received this email from US Bank.  I received a $10 statement credit on one of my US Bank credit cards that I was not expecting.  I logged into my US Bank online account to check to see what the statement credit was related to.  Long story short, the statement credit is because of a US Bank promotion that I wrote about at the end of May: Earn a $10 Statement Credit for using US Bank Credit Card with ApplePay (May 23 – June 30).
