Good morning everyone, I hope your holiday season is going well.  Yesterday, I wrote The Results Are In! My Wild & Crazy 2023 Airline, Hotel & Credit Card Predictions.  In that post, I shared how my 2023 predictions did (spoiler: not great).  But I am not deterred because 2024 is a new year and I have several new predictions that are surely to come true.  Without further ado, here are my predictions for 2024:

I’m on board with the restrictive Choice Hotel 100 day future reservation limit. Always found that to be annoying.

Hi Sn, that would be nice, but I’m not expecting much from the Chase / Hyatt team since their Hyatt business credit card is so lackluster. We will see if your prediction comes true.

Grant, doesn’t marriott already allow point transfers between members for free (with an annual cap of 100k points)? I have done that mutiple times this past year.

Hey Grant – great stuff as always. The ones I’d most like to see are Hyatt letting us top off certs with points, Choice removing the dumb 100 day reservation limit, and Chase adding some better multipliers to the Sapphire Reserve. Sadly, that card is no longer as compelling for me as it was a few years ago.

I do hope you’re incorrect about the Cash+ turning into a rotating card; like the Shopper Cash, it’s nice being able to pick your own categories. Finally, I hope we see the return of the Citi Prestige or another premium offering to replace it.

    Happy 2024 to you!
