Reminder: Denver / Front Reminder: Range Travel Hackers Meetup on Saturday, July 28

Good afternoon everyone.  I will be in Denver this weekend and organized an event with the Front Range Travel Hackers Meetup group.  I have been to a few of these Meetup events and they are always very fun and informative.  If you are in the Denver / Front Range area, please join us this weekend.  Please RSVP to the Meetup event so the organizers can tell the restaurant how many people to expect.  I’m looking forward to drinking some good beers, seeing some familiar faces, and meeting new travel hackers.  Cheers!

As a Hyatt Globalist who has already qualified for Globalist again next year, and as a holder of the Chase Hyatt credit card for many years, I’ve been thinking about the pros and cons of the newest version of this card. Yes, there are cons, too. Continue reading

Hot Deal for Saving Money at Disneyland Resorts

Hello Disney fans! If you’re buying tickets to Disneyland Resorts, listen up. I have a money-saving update for you. Undercover Tourist is offering discounts on Disneyland tickets. We all keep watching the cost of park admission tickets go up and up, so it’s great to save some money when we can.

You might recall from the Ultimate Disneyland Playbook I put together that Undercover Tourist is an online travel agency specializing in theme parks. You can save up to $26 on certain Disneyland Resort tickets, and they throw in free shipping. There are other promotions running that will save you money, too.

And don’t forget that purchases made through their website will code as travel, so be sure to take advantage of earning some points while you’re saving money.

Having fun at Disneyland is easy……and saving money makes it even easier!
