Targeted US Bank FlexPerks Credit Card Offers: 2,500 Bonus FlexPoints and 12 Free Gogo WiFi Passes

Hat Tips (thank you guys!):

Good evening everyone, I’m a little behind in sharing the US Bank FlexPerks news, but better late than never.  I received the following email from US Bank showing a few (targeted?) offers for my US Bank FlexPerks Visa Credit Card.  To see your targeted offers, click here and log in with your FlexPerks account number (not your credit card number) and the last 4 digits on your FlexPerks credit card.  I have both the US Bank FlexPerks Visa Signature and American Express version and all the good offers showed up on my Visa Signature card.  Sorry American Express cardholders, all you get is access to Serve online reloads and AMEX Offers (not a bad trade-off).

Introduction to US Bank ScoreBoard Reporting to Analyze Spending Activity

Good morning everyone.  Hot on the heals of Citibank’s New Online Bonus Spend Tracker, US Bank has introduced their own spend tracker called ScoreBoard Reporting (sounds like a sports app to me).  When you log into your US Bank online account, you will see ScoreBoard Reporting listed beneath every US Bank credit and debit card.  I was curious about the new service, so I spent a few minutes playing around with the reporting features.

1 Month Approval Process for US Bank Cash Plus Credit Card

Good morning everyone.  Last month, I wrote July 2015: My 8 Credit Card App-O-Rama Game Plan where I shared my thought process on my upcoming App-O-Rama.  On the list, was the US Bank Cash Plus Credit Card.  The sign up bonus is small ($100 bonus after spending $500 in 3 months), but the 5% rotating cash back categories was intriguing.  This credit card has the potential to generate $400 in cash back every year (5% of $2,000 = $100 x 4 quarters = $400 yearly).  Since I already have the US Bank FlexPerks Visa and AMEX, Club Carlson personal and business, this was the only other US Bank credit card I was interested in.

If you have never applied for a US Bank credit card or have a hard time getting approved for US Bank credit cards, I recommend Freezing your ARS and IDA Credit Reports before applying.  I have had great success after freezing both of these smaller credit bureaus.

When my App-O-Rama date arrived (July 14), I applied for the credit card…

Winners Announced for RV Driving Distance and Poll Question Regarding US Bank FlexPoints

Good morning everyone, thank you to the 92 of you who entered my latest contest for a chance to win one of 3 $10 Amazon eGift Cards.  I asked you to guess how many miles I drove in the RV from Los Angles to Denver and the correct answer is 1,789 miles.  The digital odometer only goes up to 1,000, but I can assure you the distance was 1,789 total miles driven.

Redbird Reloads: Discover It Miles, Golden1 Platinum Rewards, or US Bank FlexPerks Credit Card?

Good afternoon everyone, before I begin, I wanted to remind everyone that my giveaway ends tonight at 8pm PST.  If you haven’t entered the giveaway yet, please do so.  Good luck to everyone!  With that said, let’s get to the topic that is on my mind today.

Lately, I have been thinking about the best way to reload my Redbird Cards.  Assuming I can only use credit cards for Redbird reloads (no gift cards), which credit card is the best for earning cash back?  Is the new “3% cash back” Discover It Miles credit card the best for Redbird reloads?
