Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start. This post has been in the works for almost a week. I wanted to document everything that came with the new JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Visa Infinite Credit Card to show everyone exactly what the card looks like and all the items that come inside the welcome packet. First things first, the top 2 images are of the old JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Visa Signature Credit Card that I received in December 2014, when the sign up bonus was 140,000 Ritz Carlton points (basically Marriott Rewards points) and a few other perks. The bottom 2 images are of the new JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Visa Infinite Credit Card. Personally, I like that card art on the old design better because the lion is bigger. Both cards feel and weigh exactly the same. If you have the old card and want the new card, just call the number on the back of your card and request a new Visa Infinite credit card be sent to you.
The welcome packet arrived via UPS Next Day Air in a small brown box that weighed a little under 2 pounds. Inside the box is the Ritz Carlton Rewards welcome packet.
When you open the welcome packet, you will see your new credit card inside the cover. On the right side, you will see the Ritz Carlton Rewards welcome brochure.
Here is the front and back of the Ritz Carlton Rewards-at-a-Glance postcard:
Underneath the welcome brochure, you will find an envelope labeled terms and conditions.
Inside the envelope is a letter with details of your credit cards. Your credit cards should already be activated by the time they arrive to you, so no need to call the number below.
If you want to return your old credit card to JPMorgan Chase, you can mail them back in the prepaid envelope. I decided to keep my old credit card because it is very cool looking.
Last but not least, here are the pages of the welcome brochure. Scanning and cropping these pages took way more time than I thought they would. I hope you enjoy reading all the cool benefits.
If you have any questions about the JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Visa Infinite Credit Card, please leave a comment below. Have a great weekend everyone!
P.S. If you liked this post, I recommend reading my other credit card unboxing posts (sorted by date):
I got the RC Visa with 140K points in 2014. Am I eligble for new bonus [3 nights]? Thanks
I’m not sure, I think it depends on where you stand with Chase’s 5/24 rule.
Isn’t Ritz carlton outside of 5/24?
You are probably right, sorry for the misinformation.
Did you reapply or just called and ordered a new card with same annual fee?
I called and requested the new Visa Infinite card design, no application.
Thought RC didnt fall under 5/24 rule. Should be good as long as it’s been 2 years
If that’s the case, you should be good to go. I can’t keep track of all the 5/24 rules and exclusions :/
Did you receive any retention offer for second year? I got nothing when I called. Is it worth to keep the card and pay 395$?
No retention offer, but I get good value out of the $300 reimburse able expenses. There are new features now that the card is issued as a Visa Infinite card, that make the card worthwhile to keep.
hi. was the card metal or plastic?
The card is completely made of metal.
