Good morning everyone. A few days ago, I wrote about my American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card approval process and how quickly you are upgraded to Hilton Diamond Elite Status after getting approved. In today’s post, I am going to unbox the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card (my referral link) welcome packet, details from the welcome letters, and show you the front and back card art. Luckily, when I was on the phone with American Express, I requested that the credit card be expedited to me. I received an email on Monday morning that my new credit card was shipped, and by Tuesday afternoon, the new credit card arrived via UPS Next Day Air.
Inside the UPS Next Day Air envelope, there was a small white box.
Inside the white box, there was a pinkish-purpleish folder.
Inside the folder, there was a thick, unsealed, white envelope.
The cardmember agreement and other credit card terms printed on size 8 font popped out.
Here were the interesting letters. Let’s take a closer look at these letters.
Here is the credit card letter with the new credit card attached.
Here is the front and back of the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card. No where on this credit card do you see the words Aspire.
For reference, the American Express Hilton Honors Ascend Credit Card is on the left and the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card is on the right. Why would American Express make these 2 credit cards look so similar??
Moving on, American Express also included a copy of my Experian credit score – 772 – not bad!
American Express also included information on my credit limit, cash advance limit, annual fee, foreign transaction fees, and details on the credit card bonus categories.
Last but not least… I have no idea what this letter means, but I think it has to do with the APR on the credit card and American Express’s ability to make any changes to this credit card.
Stay tuned for second part of the unbxoxing process when I activate the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card (my referral link) and share some screenshots of the extensive credit card benefits. If you have any questions about the welcome packet and welcome letters, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
P.S. If you liked this post, I recommend reading my other credit card unboxing posts (sorted by date):
Nice – but a whopping APR of over 22%
The APR could be 100% to me and it wouldn’t matter. I never carry a credit card balance.
Is it metal? hee hee
No, just normal plastic. American Express doesn’t like to issue metal cards very often, only the AMEX Platinum Cards are metal, as far as I know.

When will it get a redesign to match the other Amex cards in this tier ?
That is a great question, I have no idea.
