Targeted Citi Promo: $10 Bonus for Making 5 ApplePay Purchases (AT&T Access More Credit Card)

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  I just got this email from Citi regarding a $10 bonus for making 5 ApplePay purchases from today (July 22) through September 30.  The 5 ApplePay purchases must add up to at least $10.  This is great if you have a few small ApplePay purchases over the next few months, such as paying for metered parking or at vending machines that accepts ApplePay.

Unboxing American Express Delta Platinum SkyMiles Credit Card: Card Art, Welcome Documents & Benefits

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  A few days ago, I wrote about my July App-O-Rama and my approval process for the American Express Delta Platinum SkyMiles Credit Card.  Since my application was not instantly approved, I called American Express.  I was told that I had too many credit cards with American Express and I needed to close an existing American Express credit card to open up a credit card slot.  I closed my American Express Hilton Honors Business Credit Card and transferred the credit limit over to my new American Express Delta Platinum SkyMiles Credit Card.  The American Express rep also offered to expedite the delivery of my new credit card.  Yes please! My new credit card arrived via UPS Next Day Air and here is the unboxing post that shows the card art, welcome documents, and the card benefits.  Here is the front and back of the American Express Delta Platinum SkyMiles Credit Card:

Targeted Sign Up Bonus: 25,000 Thank You Points for Citi Rewards+ Credit Card

Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  Yesterday, my fiance got an offer in the mail for the Citi Rewards+ Credit Card.  She only has a Citi Costco Credit Card with Citi and gets the occasional targeted offer from the major credit card companies.  The standard sign up bonus for the Citi Rewards+ Credit Card (shown below) is 15,000 Citi Thank You Points after spending $1,000 in 3 months.  The other previously highest sign up bonus was for 20,000 Citi Thank You Points, but my fiance’s target offer was for 25,000 Citi Thank You Points after spending $2,000 in 3 months.

View & Activate AMEX Offers on Wells Fargo Mobile App & Desktop Website

Good morning everyone.  As part of my July App-O-Rama, I was instantly approved for the Wells Fargo Propel World Credit Card.  The credit card has not arrived in the mail yet, but the new credit card is already showing up in my Wells Fargo online account.  I also discovered that you can view and activate AMEX Offers on the Wells Fargo mobile app and on the desktop website.  In this post, I will show you how to view and activate AMEX Offers on the mobile app and on the desktop website.  To get started, sign into the Wells Fargo mobile app and then click on the Wells Fargo Propel World Credit Card (which runs on the American Express network).  Then click on the Find My Deals button.

Track Hotel Free Night Certificates & Credit Card Annual Fees with my Spreadsheet

Good afternoon everyone.  Last month, I was reading an article by Nick at Frequent Miler called Almost #Bonvoyed: a cautionary tale on free night certs.  In that post, Nick shared that after cancelling a Marriott stay booked with a free night certificate, the free night certificate did not automatically redeposit into his Marriott account.  He had to track down the cancelled reservation and call Marriott to get the free night certificate redeposited into his Marriott account.  Bonvoy!  Toward the end of the article, Nick stated, “You shouldn’t need a spreadsheet to track the history of your Marriott free night certs — but the reality is that you do need to stay organized with them.”

That’s when the idea hit me, I should create a spreadsheet to track my Marriott category 1-5 free night certificates… as well as my Hilton free weekend night certificates, Hyatt category 1-4 free night certificates, IHG 40k free night certificates, and Radisson Rewards anniversary points.  Here is my Hotel Free Night Certificate Tracker, maybe it will help you stay organized too.
