Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Yesterday, I redeemed my Club Carlson domestic free night certificate and wanted to share the process with you. A few years ago, I wrote How to Book your Club Carlson Worldwide Free Night Certificate, but I did not have the opportunity to earn and redeem a domestic free night certificate until just recently. Fun fact, there are 4 different Club Carlson credit cards currently available, all with different perks, elite status, free anniversary points, and annual fees. But the one thing that is the same on all the credit cards is the ability to earn a free night certificate valid at any domestic Club Carlson property after spending $10,000 or more on the Club Carlson credit card during your card member year. For the record, I currently have the US Bank Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card and the US Bank Club Carlson Business Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card.

Targeted Spending Offers on US Bank Club Carlson Business & Cash Plus Credit Cards
Good morning everyone, happy Friday! By the time you read this post, I will be on my way to Denver for a short weekend trip (with a Sunday travel meetup in Denver). My love affair with US Bank continues as they continue to shower me in gifts (in the form of targeted spending offers) on my US Bank Club Carlson Business Credit Card and US Bank Cash Plus Credit Card. Let’s go through the offers and see if there are any winners.
First up, I have a targeted spending offer on my US Bank Club Carlson Business Credit Card. After spending $2,000 on the credit card, I will earn an extra 5 Club Carlson Points per dollar, up to 5,000 bonus Club Carlson Points. To maximize the offer, I would need to spend exactly $3,000. I would receive $3,000 x 5 points per dollar = 15,000 Club Carlson Points + 5,000 bonus Club Carlson Points = 20,000 Club Carlson Points. 20,000 Club Carlson Points is worth ~$100 (each Club Carlson Point is worth 0.5 cents to me), so $100 / $3,000 = 3.33% return. Not bad, but I really don’t want any more Club Carlson Points, so I will pass on this offer.
Targeted Q2 Credit Card Offers Part 2: 10,000 JetBlue TrueBlue Points & US Bank Club Carlson $25 Statement Credit
Good evening everyone. After going 0 for 3 with good targeted credit card offers this morning (Targeted Q2 Credit Card Offers: 4,000 Hyatt Points, 3,000 IHG Reward Points & 2,500 Lufthansa Miles), I have 2 fairly decent offers to share. Up first, I have the Barclay JetBlue Credit Card with 10,000 bonus TrueBlue Points after spending $750 in April, May, and June. 10,000 TrueBlue Points is worth ~$150 to me, so that represents a return of 6.67% ($150 / $2,250). This is a pretty good offer, so I will probably go for this offer.
Targeted US Bank Credit Card Offers: 2,000 Bonus FlexPoints & 5,000 Bonus Club Carlson Points
Update: I just received an email offer on March 1 for my US Bank Club Carlson Personal Visa Signature Credit Card. Scroll to the bottom to see the details of that offer.
Good morning everyone, I just received 2 targeted credit card offers from US Bank. The first is on my US Bank FlexPerks Visa Signature Credit Card and offers 2,000 bonus FlexPoints after spending $500 between March 1 and April 30. You can log into your FlexPerks PromoSite portal and see if you have the same (or better) offer. If you do not see the offer after logging in, you can try clicking this link to go directly to the offer, but YMMV. This offer is really generous from US Bank and is a no brainer in my book since 2,000 FlexPoints is worth ~$40 to me.
When will my 40,000 Bonus Club Carlson Anniversary Points Post to my Account?
Good afternoon/evening everyone. I know what you are all thinking… how long does it take for Club Carlson to post the 40,000 bonus anniversary points to my account? That is a great question and I am happy to say you are in the right place to find out. I have both the US Bank Club Carlson Visa Signature Credit Card and the US Bank Club Carlson Business Credit Card, so I can share those 2 data points with you. Up first, let’s look at the US Bank Club Carlson Visa Signature Credit Card. The $75 annual fee posted on November 2, 2016…
