Viator Launches Viator Rewards; Earn 10% Rebate on Activities & Redeem Rewards for Future Activities within 6 Months

Good morning everyone.  During my recent trip to Prague, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam, I booked a few activities on Viator to trigger a few Citi Merchant Offers.  At the time, a few online shopping portal were offering 10%-15% cash back on Viator, so the timing worked out well.  A few days after getting home from the trip, I realized that I earned Viator Rewards.  I am not sure when Viator Rewards was launched or if it is available to everyone, but I thought I would share some info about how it works.  First, sign into your Viator account and click on Viator Rewards (landing page).  Here, you will see all your recently completed Viator activities, when they expire, and how much rewards you have available.

2 Viator Citi Merchant Offers Available: $20 Off $150 and $35 Off $300 + Stack with 10% Cash Back

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you had a great Father’s Day Weekend. 3 weeks ago, my wife and I decided to book a last minute trip to Europe this summer with stops in Prague (PRG), Copenhagen (CPH), and Amsterdam (AMS).  I am also a big fan of Viator, so I was researching some activities and food walking tours for our trip.  I then remembered that I saw a few Viator Citi Merchant Offers recently, so I enrolled my eligible Citi credit cards in the offers and made my Viator purchases.  In this post, I will show you how to enroll / activate your Viator offers and show how quickly the statement credit posts.

I checked all 6 of my Citi credit cards and found 2 different versions of the Viator Citi Merchant Offers: $20 Off $150 and $35 Off $300.  These offers do not appear on the same credit cards and you must make a single purchase to trigger the offers.

Goodbye Better Balance Rewards, Hello Bank of America Unlimited Cash Rewards MasterCard and Visa Credit Cards (Card Art Images)

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  A few weeks ago, I wrote about the Targeted: $200 Bonus for Bank of America Better Balance Rewards Credit Cards Converting to Unlimited Cash Rewards.  Last week, I wrote How to Redeem Bank of America Unlimited Cash Rewards Credit Card $200 Bonus for Statement Credit. I thought that I would do one more post about my beloved Better Balance Rewards (BBR) credit cards before I put them through the shredder.  I didn’t realize until now, but on the back side of the BBR credit cards, it says “Cardholder Since” with a 15 on the MasterCard and a 17 on Visa.  I will assume Bank of America means 2015 and 2017, since I haven’t had these cards since I was 15 years old or 17 years old.

I did some rough math and calculated that I have had these credit cards for about 60 quarters total from the time I received them / converted to them and now.  Since I have a linked Bank of America checking account, I received a $30 quarterly bonus each quarter when I pay my bill in full and on time.  60 quarters x $30 = $1,800 in cash back.  Now I understand why Bank of America had to kill these cards, they were probably losing hundreds of thousands of dollars per year without generating much income.  RIP BBR credit cards, you will be missed.

InKind Restaurant Payment App Introduces Rewards Program (Targeted Challenges = Credit Back)

Good morning everyone.  Last November, I wrote about the AMEX Offer for the InKind restaurant payment app and showed how InKind worked at participating restaurants.  A few months ago, InKind had a promo during March Madness that offered a $24 bonus if you used InKind 3 times during the basketball tournament.  It looks like InKind has rolled those promos into InKind Rewards, their new rewards program, that rewards members for completing targeted challenges.  I will show you where to find the challenges and show you the 3 challenges that I received.  If you are new to InKind, here is my InKind referral link that “gets you $25 free when you spend $50 or more at any restaurant and pay your bill using the InKind app.”

First things first, here is the InKind Rewards announcement email that came yesterday afternoon.
