My Negative Experience Moving / Reallocating Credit Limits / Prepaying Bill with Capital One Spark Business Credit Card

Good afternoon everyone.  A few weeks ago, I did a mini App-O-Rama and applied for 3 business credit cards.  One of those cards was the Capital One Spark Cash Select Business Credit Card.  That credit card currently has a sign up bonus of $500 cash back after spending $4,500 in 3 months.  I applied for this credit card and was instantly approved.  The only problem… my credit limit was exactly $5,000 and I needed to make a $5,000+ charge.  Before continuing, please read my post from this morning: My Positive Experience Moving / Reallocating Credit Limits / Prepaying Bill with Bank of America Business Credit Card.

My Positive Experience Moving / Reallocating Credit Limits / Prepaying Bill with Bank of America Business Credit Card

Good morning everyone.  A few weeks ago, I did a mini App-O-Rama and applied for 3 business credit cards.  One of those cards was the Bank of America Business Advantage Unlimited Cash Rewards Credit Card.  The standard offer is $300 cash back after spending $3,000 in 3 months, but there is an alternative offer (link) that has a $500 cash back bonus after spending $5,000 in 3 months.  I applied for the alternative offer and was instantly approved.  The only problem… my credit limit was only $3,000 and I had a $5,000+ charge I needed to make.

My Experience with the InKind App to Pay Restaurant Bill, $25 Referral Credit, & $50 AMEX Offer

Good afternoon everyone.  About a week ago, there was a new AMEX Offer for InKind, which is an app that you can use to pay your restaurant bill / tab at participating restaurants.  The AMEX Offer gives you a $50 statement credit after you spend $50 with InKind, so you can basically get $50 in free InKind credit.  The best way to trigger the $50 statement credit is to go to the link in the AMEX Offer (http://pass.inkind.com/amex-special) and purchase a $50 InKind eGift Card.  I added the InKind AMEX Offer to my card, made the $50 InKind eGift Card purchase on November 22, and received the $50 statement credit 2 days later on November 24.  You can also stack the $50 credit with the $25 referral credit, giving you $75 in free InKind credit.  I will also show you how to use the app to pay a restaurant bill.

Register for FTU Virtual Seminar on Saturday, December 3 ($25) or Free with Online Annual Membership

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you had a great Cyber Monday!  If you are not busy this Saturday, December 3, I highly recommend attending the FTU Virtual Seminar (tickets available for $25) or free if you have the FTU Online Annual Membership.  The seminar starts on Saturday, December 3, at 8am PT / 11am ET.  I have attended all of the FTU Virtual Seminars over the last 2 years and they are always well done, educational, and entertaining – and I am sure this seminar will be no exception!  I will be presenting about Vacasa Vacation Rentals and here is the rest of the schedule.

If you register for the seminar, but are unable to watch the live stream, you can access the recording of the seminar and watch later on.  This is also a great way to re-watch your favorite presentations and catch any details that you originally missed.

See your Bank of America “More Rewards Day” Extra 2% Cash Back Online

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your week is going well.  Last Saturday, Bank of America celebrated More Rewards Day by offering cardmembers an extra 2% cash back (or an extra 2x miles) on all purchases made on November 5.  Doctor of Credit has more details about the promo.  I recently applied for the Bank of America Business Advantage Unlimited Cash Rewards Credit Card that was offering $500 cash back after spending $5,000 in 3 months.  I had to make some tax payments in November, so I waited until November 5 to make the payment and complete the $5,000 minimum spending requirement.  In this post, I will show you how to see your extra cash back from More Rewards Day.
