My Credit Card Retention Offer Presentation from OC TravelCon

Good morning everyone, I had a great time at the OC TravelCon travel conference yesterday.  It was a pleasure to meet some of you and to share my credit card retention offer presentation.  I was very nervous and forgot some of my opening jokes:

New Chase EMV Chip and Signature Credit Card Pics: Freedom, Southwest Airlines Premier and Plus

Good afternoon everyone, this is a followup post to Requesting New Chase EMV Cards: Freedom, United MileagePlus, and Southwest Airlines Plus & Premier.  I am still waiting for my new Chase United Airlines MileagePlus Credit Card to arrive in the mail, but I have 3 new credit card designs to show you.  The top row shows the front and back of my old Chase Freedom Credit Card.  It looks like Chase removed the Blink feature (WiFi symbol on the back), which allowed you to pay by placing your credit card near a payment reader.  I never used Blink and never saw it mentioned anywhere by Chase.

Are Southwest Airlines Anytime Fares a Better Deal than Wanna Get Away Fares?

Good afternoon everyone, I am speaking at the OC TravelCon travel conference this weekend (more info) and I needed to purchase a flight to Orange County (SNA).  I was looking at the 7:05pm Southwest Airlines flight on Wednesday evening from SFO.  The cheapest option (Wanna Get Away fare) was $212, while the Anytime fare was $223, and the Business Select fare was $251.  Obviously the Wanna Get Away fare is the best deal, right?

Last Call for No Fee Evolve Money Bill Payments

(Hat Tip to Doctor of Credit)

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend.  Last week, I wrote Poll: Is Evolve Money Dead? 3% Fee for Gift Card Payments Next Week.  But according to Doctor of Credit’s post, Evolve Money is allowing certain credit cards to be added as a debit card and used to pay bills.  I added a few credit cards to my account and here are my successes and failures.  Only my US Bank Club Carlson Business Credit Card worked, but apparently Barclays Arrival Plus is working as well.
