Convert any Citi Card to the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card

Good afternoon everyone, I have another short post for you guys.  Recently, I decided that I no longer wanted my Citi Dividend Credit Card – the bonus categories did not excite me this year.  So, I called Citi and asked if I could convert my Citi Dividend Credit Card into the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card.  Unfortunately, the rep said that credit card was not available as a conversion option on my Citi Dividend Credit Card.  No worries, I asked if I could convert to the no annual fee Citi AT&T Access Credit Card instead.  Yes, she said, I could convert to that credit card.  I then asked her if I could then convert my Citi AT&T Access Credit Card to the Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card and she was not sure.  I had a hunch that it would work, so I went ahead and converted my Citi Dividend Credit Card into the no annual fee Citi AT&T Access Credit Card.  A few days later, I received my new Citi AT&T Access Credit Card.

Hunch: Is Citi Increasing Credit Limits on Other Cards for Customers Losing Citi Hilton Credit Cards?

Good morning everyone, greetings from the beautiful, tropical, peaceful Andaz Papagayo in Liberia, Costa Rica.  I have a quite a lot of blog posts to get to before I can share my review of this hotel, but (spoiler alert!) this hotel is amazing!  Lots of pictures to come from that upcoming hotel review.  Anyway, back to today’s topic at hand.  Is Citi increasing credit limits on some of their credit cards for customers who are losing a Citi Hilton credit card to American Express?  Short answer: I have no idea, this is just a hunch, so I may be completely wrong.  I have 2 Citi Hilton Honors Reserve Credit Card, each with $10,000 credit limits, that are in the process of being converted to American Express Hilton Ascend Credit Cards.  Since there is no way for me to touch the $10,000 credit limit on either of my 2 Citi Hilton Honors Reserve Credit Cards, I am going to lose $20,000 in credit limit from Citi, which represents more than 50% of my total credit limit with Citi.

With that being said, I just received the following email from Citi regarding the credit limit on my Citi Thank You Premier Credit Card.  This credit card went from a $5,000 credit limit up to to an $8,000 credit limit, but that is neither my oldest Citi credit card or the Citi credit card that I use the most (this credit card actually gets no love anymore since I now use my Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card for all of my travel expenses).

How to Remove / Unlink a Citi Credit Card from your Online Account

Good morning everyone, greetings from the crowded Copa Club in Panama City, Panama (PTY).  Some Citi credit cards are being converted to other credit cards, namely the Citi Forward Credit Card is converting to the Citi Thank You Preferred Credit Card and the Citi Hilton Honors Reserve Credit Card is being converted to the American Express Hilton Ascend Credit Card in the next few weeks.

As of January 15, the Citi Forward Credit Card conversion process is underway and the new Citi Thank You Preferred Credit Card already shows up in my Citi online account.  If you use the Citi mobile app, you will see that your Citi Forward Credit Card account is closed, but there is no way to remove that account from the Citi mobile app.  In this post, I will show you how to remove / unlink a Citi credit card from your online account.

Citi Thank You Preferred Credit Card Now Showing in Online Account (Citi Forward Forced Product Change / Conversion)

Hi everyone, this is my last post of the day.  I have spent the last few hours lounging around at a Priority Pass lounge in San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL) and I need to get on a plane to Lima, Peru (LIM) and then to La Paz, Bolivia (LPB).  I’m not sure if this is interesting to anyone else (maybe just Will at Doctor of Credit), but when I logged into my Citi online account, I spotted my new Citi Thank You Preferred Credit Card above my Citi Forward Credit Card.

How to Add Redemption Nominee to Singapore Airlines Account

Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  By the time you read this post, I will be flying down to La Paz, Bolivia for the start of my Central / South America trip.  A few weeks ago, I booked a flight for my brother to Maui, Hawaii.  The flight is in mid April and the cost of the ticket was kind of pricey ($500+), but luckily I found United Airlines award space for the flights he wanted.  Unfortunately, United Airlines charges 45,000 miles + $11.20 in taxes/fees for a roundtrip flight in economy.  Luckily, Singapore Airlines only charges 35,000 miles for the same roundtrip flight in economy to Hawaii.  In this post, I will show you how I easily booked an award ticket for my brother using Singapore Airlines miles and how adding him as a redemption nominee made the process even easier.
