Granny Rewards Loyalty Program: Receive $5 SaveYa eGift Card for $1,000 in Gift Card Granny Purchases

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  I have written about Gift Card Granny many times before (1, 2, 3, etc.) – it is my go to source every time I want to buy or sell a gift card.  In today’s post, I will give you an introduction, overview, and review of Gift Card Granny’s loyalty program – Granny Rewards.  The program is free to join, you just need to create a free Gift Card Granny account.  To motivate you to join, they provide 2,500 points as a sign up bonus (warning: 2,500 points is not worth much).

Redeem Discover It Cash Back for Gift Cards & eGift Cards (Online & In-App)

Good morning everyone, happy Thursday!  Hopefully by now, you are sitting on a huge pile of Discover It Cash Back from their Cash Back Match promotion.  I just received the following email from Discover telling me to redeem my cash back for gift cards and egift cards.  If you have the Discover mobile app, you can sign in, view rewards, and redeem your cash back balance for gift cards, egift cards, statement credits, or donate to charity.  In this post, I will show you some good redemption options (in my opinion) from Discover in the form of gift cards and egift cards.

Good morning everyone, I have a few travel meetup reminders and announcements.  The official SF Travel Hackers Meetup group is meeting on Thursday night.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this event because I have tickets to the Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage symphony that same evening.  Pizza and drinks are usually provided by Dev Bootcamp, some come early for dinner and to mingle with other travel hackers.

Update: the event is changed from Dev Bootcamp to SOMA StrEat Food Park.

  • When: Thursday, July 14 @ 7-9pm
  • Where: SOMA StrEat Food Park, 428 11th St, San Francisco, CA (Google Map)

P.S. I am working on a post about all the credit cards I was approved for during my last App-O-Rama.  I’m still waiting to receive my Comenity Virgin America Credit Card and US Bank Korean Air SkyPass Credit Card, but I can talk about the 4 other credit cards I received.

P.P.S. Stay safe everyone and have a great Fourth of July weekend!
