Good morning everyone, happy Friday! I’m going to assume that 99.9% of you don’t care about Boise State Football or have ever been to Boise, Idaho. For whatever reason, I have been a big fan of Boise State for the last few years, even though I never went to school there and I don’t know anyone who lives in Idaho. Maybe the bright blue turf football field has something to do with it, I’m not sure. Either way, I am finally going to a game in Boise Saturday night (I still need to buy tickets for the game). Watching a Boise State football game is on my “sports bucket list” and I am happy to check it off my list.

Good morning everyone, here are some random news stories for you today. American Express added 2 new AMEX Offers: $8 off $40 at Coffeebean.com and $20 off $100 at UnderArmour.com. A wireless network called Ting is giving away $5 Starbucks Gift Cards to AT&T customers for filling out a small form. My Short Term MS Plans with 4 Dead Redbirds (Target Memo)
Good morning everyone, I’m sure everyone knows about the Target memo (thanks Bill!), but if not, here it is below. I’m not going to lie, this sucks big time. I had 4 Redbird Cards (myself, mom, dad, and brother) and Redbird was involved with 95% of all my MS activities. With the demise of debit card reloads, there is a mass exodus to Bluebird and Serve. Not me. I’m not switching to Bluebird or Serve. There are no Walmarts within walking distance (like my local Target) and I have no interest in driving to Walmart.
Chicago Seminars Friday-Sunday (Oct 16-18) and Boutique Air Flight Oakland to Merced on Nov 1?
Update: there are a few tickets for Chicago Seminars still available until 9am PT / 12pm ET here.
Good morning everyone, I have a very busy schedule this week, but I wanted to let everyone know that I will be at the Chicago Seminars this weekend (October 16-18). I believe tickets are sold out and the transfer window has closed, but if you have a ticket already, I look forward to seeing you this weekend. You should be able to recognize me with my gray Travel with Grant shirt. The sessions start on Friday afternoon so I am looking forward to a long weekend of talking miles and points.
In other news, I just learned about a new airline called Boutique Air that flies around California and the West Coast. They have a hub at Merced, CA (MCE) and offer very cheap flights.
Here are some pics of the inside of the cabin and of the outside of the aircraft.
