Good morning everyone, happy Friday and happy early Father’s Day. Sorry for being MIA (missing in action, not Miami International Airport) lately. I have a few posts lined up, so hopefully I will have time to publish a few articles this weekend and early next week. I wasn’t planning on talking about American Express offers (mainly because the offers have sucked for the last several months), but I ran into a few bugs this morning when looking at my American Express online account. American Express Changes to Card Updates, Forex Fees & Annual Fee Refunds

WARNING: this post is about boring changes to American Express card terms and conditions. You have been warned!

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I have all my credit card statements close at the beginning of the month (I get the bonus points faster and can use them sooner), and I always check to see if there are any changes to the credit card or loyalty program terms. This is how I discovered that the American Express Membership Reward transfer ratio to British Airways was changing from 1000:1000 to 250:200. Anyway, I spotted a few changes to all American Express credit/charge/business cards this afternoon. None of these are as big of a deal as the British Airways transfer, but they still may affect some people.

Change 1: If you have your American Express card on file with a merchant and that card number or the expiration date changes, American Express may (but is not required to) share that change with the merchant to prevent a disruption in your charges. This could be a positive or negative depending if you want those charges to continue without disruption.

Transfer Times to KLM / Air France from Chase Ultimate Rewards, AMEX Membership Rewards, Citi Thank You Points & SPG Starpoints

Update 8pm PT on 5/24: My 1500 SPG points posted to my KLM / Air France account within 48 hours of making the transfer (Tuesday afternoon). SPG may do a bulk transfer at the same time for everyone, so your transfer times may vary.

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend. I was in Portland over the weekend and had my fair share of food carts, Voodoo Donuts, rain drizzles, and weird people. But enough about me… it’s all about KLM / Air France today. Yesterday, Frequent Miler reported that KLM / Air France was added as a Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partner. This is great news because you can now get KLM / Air France Flying Blue miles from all 4 major points currencies: Chase Ultimate Rewards Points, Citi Thank You Points, American Express Membership Reward Points, and SPG Points. In this post, I will show you how long transfers from each points currency takes to post to your KLM / Air France account. Good morning everyone, I just went through all of my AMEX cards and found all the new AMEX Offers linked to my cards. None of these AMEX Offers are amazing (I miss all the great AMEX Offers from last year), but they might save you a few bucks on normal everyday spending.
