My Wife Merged 2 Alaska Airlines Accounts (Combined Miles & Discount Codes)

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  A few months ago, my wife applied for the Bank of America Alaska Airlines Credit Card.  The credit card offered 40,000 Alaska Airlines miles after spending $2,000 in 3 months, a $100 statement credit, and the $99 companion fare.  Fast forward to October 28, her credit card statement closed and it showed that she earned 42,975 Alaska Airlines miles that would post to her Alaska Airlines account.  The only problem?  The Alaska Airlines miles never posted to her Alaska Airlines account.

ExpressVPN Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deal + 3 Free Months

Updated 11am PT on 11/25/19: The ExpressVPN deal is back again this year.  The sale is the same as last year, so I republished this post.  The deal is live through December 15, 2019.

Good afternoon everyone, happy Thanksgiving Eve!  Black Friday and Cyber Monday are right around the corner and ExpressVPN wants to get the party started early.  ExpressVPN normally offers a 1 month free trial when you become a subscriber, but during this promotion, you can get 3 months free when you become a subscriberI have been using ExpressVPN for the last year and I love their desktop, laptop, and mobile app.  With data breaches occurring on a weekly basis, I think it is very important that we do our best to protect ourselves when we are online, whether that is at home or on the road.

How to Update Passport & Driver’s License Info with Global Entry

Good afternoon everyone.  After our wedding in July, Laura went through the necessary steps to change her legal name (she is now Laura Thomas).  Since then, she has been working hard updating her name on everything: credit cards, bank accounts, airline programs, hotel programs, passport, driver’s license, social security, etc.  The last thing she needed to update was her Global Entry / TSA PreCheck account.  I thought this would be an easy process to do online, but she was required to go in person to a Global Entry Enrollment Center (locations).  In this post, I will show you what information you can change / update online and what information can only be changed by going to a Global Entry Enrollment Center.

To get started, sign into your Global Entry online account.  The first 2 places to look are the Edit Profile link and Update Documents link.

6 Buy Miles/Points Promos Ending in November: Southwest (35%), British Airways (50%), Hilton (100%), JetBlue (30%), American (100K) & Spirit (60%)

Good afternoon everyone.  I was working on my Buy Miles & Points Page and found a few offers ending soon.  Always check the math to make sure that buying miles & points makes sense for you.  Do not buy miles & points speculatively unless you have a use in mind.  With that said, here are 6 offers that end in November.  Up first, Southwest Airlines is offering a 35% discount, when you purchase at least 5,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Points.  This offer expires tomorrow – November 19.
