Good morning everyone, happy April Fool’s Day.  No pranks today for me, I don’t have time for those.  Before I went on my RV road trip, I did a mini App-O-Rama in mid March and it’s been almost 2 weeks, so I can now share all my results.  If you have been reading my blog for a while, you probably know about my ongoing battle with Barclays.  I have applied for 5-6 Barclays credit cards over the last 2 years or so and have been denied every time.  Since the Barclays US Airways Credit Card is going away very soon, I thought I would try for that card one more time.  The sign up bonus is 50,000 US Airways miles (now those are 50,000 American Airlines miles) after your first purchase.

Good morning from a chilly rest stop somewhere in Utah.  If you haven’t heard, I’m on an Epic RV Road Trip from Los Angeles to Denver thanks to TransferCar until Friday afternoon.  I’m using my iPhone 6 to create a hotspot so I can bring you these amazing AMEX offers.  Up first, is this Qantas offer where you will receive $400 cash back after spending $2,500 or more.

Statement Credits Post for Lowe’s and FedEx Office AMEX Offers and 3 New Offers

Good morning everyone, this is just a quick update.  After visiting Lowe’s and FedEx Office on Monday to partake in the recent round of AMEX Offers, all the statement credits posted on Tuesday.  I am very impressed with the speed of the entire process.  Good job AMEX!

Minor Updates: Staples Visa GC Rebate, Amazon GCs at Lowe’s, and Tape at FedEx Office

Good afternoon everyone, this is an update to a few of my recent posts.  Yesterday, Staples ran an Easy Rebate on Visa Gift Cards (purchase $250 or more in Visa Gift Cards and receive a $20 Visa Gift Card as a rebate).  I called around to a few local Staples stores and only one had a few $200 VGCs in stock.  I told the cashier to hold 2 cards for me and I quickly drove over.  After talking to the cashier, he mentioned that they should receive a new shipment of gift cards that evening.  If I wanted more, I should call back tonight or tomorrow morning to see if the gift cards arrive.  If you have not picked up your VGCs, I would call around to see if your local Staples stores have any VGCs available or when a new shipment of VGCs should arrive.

All New AMEX Offers: Lowe’s, FedEx Office, Chevron, Best Western, and More!

Good morning everyone, AMEX just loaded a bunch of great AMEX offers onto my AMEX credit cards.  Some of my favorite offers include Lowe’s, FedEx Office, Chevron, and Best Western.  Below that, I have 11 other AMEX offers (mostly restaurants).  If you are interested in these offers, you better add these offers to your cards ASAP before the limit fills up.

Frequent Miler’s post recommends buying gift cards and splitting tender to only use $50 at a time.  I might buy a few gift cards and do self checkout, if possible.
