How to Book Travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards Expedia Travel Portal (November 2018)

Good morning everyone.  A few weeks ago, Chase changed their travel provider for their Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal to Expedia, so I decided to do an updated guide on how to book travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal and pay with your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points.  To get started, sign into your Chase online account and click the Go to Ultimate Rewards button on the right side of the page.

Citi Double Cash: $125 Cash Back Sign Up Bonus After $625 Spend (Targeted Referral)

Updated 10:30pm PT on 11/18: I have reached my cap of 20 referrals, I cannot refer any more people.  If you were referred, you should receive an email from Citi within a few days.  Thank you to everyone who used my referral link and good luck with your application.

Full Disclosure: This post is out of the norm for me, but I thought it would help some of my readers.  Citi sent me a targeted email where I can earn up to $500 cash back for referring 5 readers to the Citi Double Cash Credit Card.  I would normally not post this on my blog, but if you use my referral link, you can earn $125 cash back as a sign up bonus.  If you were to apply for this credit card directly on Citi’s website, the Citi Double Cash Credit Card currently offers no sign up bonus, just “0% Intro APR on balance transfers for 18 months.”  By using my referral link, you earn $125 cash back and I earn $100 per referral.

Good afternoon everyone.  Last week, I received this email from Citi regarding my Citi Double Cash Credit Card.  I can earn up to $500 cash back for referring 5 people to the Citi Double Cash Credit Card.  Strangely, Citi also wants me to spend $500 on my Citi Double Cash Credit Card in the next 12 months.  That is not a problem, since I use this credit card often to earn 2% cash back on my purchases.  I normally use my American Express Blue Business Plus Credit Card since it earns 2x Membership Rewards Points on all purchases, but if American Express is not accepted by the merchant / retailer, I go with my Citi Double Cash Credit Card.  Here is the email I received from Citi.

Plastiq Now Offers Expedited Check Delivery via FedEx Priority Overnight

Good morning everyone.  Yesterday, I received an email from Plastiq regarding a new feature added to Plastiq’s Accelerated Payments Suite.  Here is the email:

Customers simply schedule the payment and choose expedited delivery in order to guarantee delivery within two business days. Plastiq accepts the customer’s payment by credit card and sends a check to their vendor.

Business owners often seek to maximize their lines of credit, including the most easily accessible one of all – credit cards. Why not leverage the line of credit you already have in your wallet? Not only are you able to benefit from the cash float available by leveraging credit card payoff periods, but you can also earn rewards to invest back into you business. It’s a win-win! Trim Saves Money on Monthly Cable / Phone / TV / Internet Bills (Negotiates Discounts on your Behalf)

Good morning everyone.  A few weeks ago, I friend told me about a service called Trim, where they will monitor your cable / phone / TV / Internet bills and negotiate a lower rate for you.  In exchange for negotiating a lower rate, Trim takes a cut of the savings.  The service sounded like a cool idea and I decided to try it out on my home Comcast cable / TV / Internet bill.  Trim works with several cable / phone / TV / Internet providers, so most TWG readers should check it out.
