Good morning everyone, this is going to be a short post about my recent call to the Chase retention department. My Chase Ink Bold Visa Charge Card annual fee is coming due in a few days, so I called Chase and asked what retention offers were available. In the past, I received $100 statement credits with no additional spending for paying the $95 annual fee. I was hoping to get the same retention offer this year, but that was not the case.

Good afternoon everyone, if you are like me, you probably have a few hotel credit cards which provide free night certificates each year. Juggling and remembering to use the free night certificates can be challenging at times and you may forget to use one of your free nights before the expiration date arrives. This is the story of how my expired Marriott free night certificate was reactivated. For the record, I really dislike Marriott’s free night certificates because they only have a 6 month life span, compared to all the other annual free night certificates.
